Chapter 118 Holy Water Seal
Speaking of this story, I have to talk about the history of the Bon religion first.
Bon religion is also known as "Benbo religion". It is commonly known as "black religion" because its heads are wrapped in black scarves. It is a primitive religion that was popular in Tibetan areas before Buddhism was introduced to Tibet.
Bon Buddhism was originally developed in the southern part of today's Ali region, known as Xiangxiong in ancient times, and then spread widely to the whole Tibetan area from west to east along the Yarlung Zangbo River. In terms of content, Bonism is a belief that all things have spirits. The objects worshipped include heaven, earth, sun, moon, stars, thunder and lightning, hail, mountains and rivers, earth and rocks, vegetation, animals and other natural things. Bonism can be said to be a local form of pan-spiritual belief in Tibet.
The primitive Bon religion divided the world into three parts, namely heaven, earth and earth. The name of the god in heaven is "Zan", the god of the earth is called "Year", and the god of the earth is called "Lu", which is often referred to as the dragon.
The god occupies an important position in the Bon religion. It is said that Nie Chizanpu, the first king of the Tubo Dynasty, was the son of the god who descended to the world along the ladder. After completing their careers in the world, Nie Chizanpu and his later six Zampu followed the man's ladder back to the sky. The eighth Zhigong Zamp was killed in the competition with Minister Luo Ang, and the ladder was cut off. From then on, Zamp could no longer go to heaven.
In order to continue to go up the ladder again, the elders of the Bon religion began to use the means of killing and sacrificed flesh and blood to the gods through sacrifice. Later, the god was moved by the people of the Bon religion, and a huge silver-eyed statue fell from the sky. Legend has it that he could find a way to go back to heaven from this ancient silver eye.
Through year after year's research, Bonism finally came up with a way to make four small silver-eyed statues based on the silver-eyed statue, and learned a wonderful method from which to extract a kind of blood lipid and holy water from flesh and blood sacrifice. These two things have a miraculous effect on practitioners. If they can be taken for a long time, they can greatly improve their skills and have incredible magic powers. Unfortunately, because this kind of sacrifice requires a lot of flesh and blood, it was once regarded as an evil sect, and it also triggered all kinds of disputes and internal strife within the Bon religion.
Among them, the elders represented by Xin Rao have the upper hand. Slowly, this kind of flesh-and-blood sacrifice has been suppressed. On this basis, Xin Rao unified the original stone Bon religion and created the Yongzhong Bon religion. The sacrificial platform once became a taboo in the Bon religion. In order to protect the huge silver-eyed statue, the elders carved a square seal and locked up the silver-eyed statue with the four spells of wind, rain, thunder and lightning.
From the seventh century A.D., the Yongzhong Bon religion founded by Xin Rao was the only religious and belief foundation in the whole Tubo region. However, since Indian Buddhism was introduced to Tubo in the seventh century A.D., Bon and Indian Buddhism have absorbed a lot of each other's content while repelling each other. Bon has absorbed the content of Indian Buddhism and enriched its cultural connotation. Indian Buddhism has absorbed the content of Bon, which also enabled it to be more deeply rooted at that time. The society has gradually developed into the current Tibetan Buddhism.
Among them, he is represented by the Lotus Master, who has won several battles with the wizards and elders of the Bon religion. The elders had no choice but to think of the legendary sacrificial platform and re-activate the flesh and blood sacrifice in an attempt to defeat the lotus through the power of the gods. However, the lotus life spell was so strong that it arrived when the sacrifice was just started and killed all the elders. While Lianhuasheng was killing, a disciple of the Bon religion took away the sacred objects that started the altar and hid them. Lianhuasheng found that the altar could not be started, so he closed the altar with great magic power. Since then, Bon Buddhism has not caused much trouble. Indian Buddhism has also absorbed many useful things in Bon Buddhism, and finally formed Tibetan Buddhism, which now has strong local characteristics.
It was not until the rise of the Guge Dynasty that the descendants of the escaped Bon disciples also became the national teachers of the hostile country Ladak. In the face of the desperate resistance of the Guge Dynasty, the national master thought of the altar mentioned by his ancestors, so he secretly sneaked into the altar. After hundreds of years, the Lotusman's spell has failed. The national master easily restarted the altar, and the huge silver-eyed statue reappeared in the world and emitted anger from heaven. Overnight, the whole Guge Dynasty turned into hell, and 100,000 creatures turned into mummies.
The national master was also hunted down by the Tibetan Tantra because of this move. In a siege, the national master was killed, and most of the sacred objects fell into the hands of the tantra. However, Danjibu, a disciple of the national master, fled with four silver-eye statues and a sutra. The master of Tantra also followed him into the Central Plains, and the two never returned to Tibet.
In order to prevent the tragedy of the Guge Dynasty from happening again, the Tantra Living Buddha re-blocked the sacrificial platform and left a practitioner to be supervised.
Speaking of this, Yingzi smiled and spread out his palms and said to them, "Speaking of this, everyone must know the ins and outs of this sacrificial platform. In fact, most of it is also heard by Brother Xiong. It's slightly modified. I'm sorry, Brother Xiong!"
Li Jiaxiong laughed and said indifferently, "It's worthless to lie drunk on a beautiful woman's knees. However, your Black Dragon will have spent such a huge amount of manpower and material resources for this rumor, which makes me very curious. What are you doing?
The cold light in Yingzi's eyes flashed, and his face continued quietly: "Since Danjibu and Master Hongfa have invested in the secret door and Shaolin respectively, there is no need to ask, it is natural that you two factions have inherited the relevant things. Why did you come here? Naturally, it's the blood lipids and holy water. This is the legendary immortality that can live an immortality. However, if you two can promise me a condition, our Black Dragon will not take any of these two things. How about giving them all to two people?
Li Jiaxiong and Shisanlang looked at each other and saw the confusion in each other's eyes. After a moment of hesitation, Shisanlang said, "I don't know what Miss Yingzi wants. It's not too late to say it first and listen to it before making a theory."
Yingzi stared at the two of them and said, "It's very simple, as long as you transfer the wind and rain seal in your hand to me."
Hearing this, Li Jiaxiong sneered and said, "Miss Yingzi is really powerful. Even the seal in our hands is so clear. Unfortunately, the price is a little too high."
Shisanlang also agreed: "It's a good idea. That seal is the key to opening the silver-eye statue. If you want us to make way, this mouth is a little too big."
Yingzi showed great confidence and continued to lobby the two: "You also know that in addition to the two seals in your hand, the remaining two have not been known for a long time, and it is difficult to find them. The incomplete seal is equivalent to waste in the hands of two people. Is it that you two still don't know the importance of blood lipids and holy water? For you two, it's more real than that illusory thing. Besides, in addition to the red sandalwood of our Black Dragon Club, I'm afraid you two are also unable to collect it.
Shisanlang is angry, which is simply anti-guest. But why did the door owner tell himself in advance, is there anything else in it?
Li Jiaxiong thought further. When it comes to collecting holy water, he also prepared something this time, but it is far worse than red sandalwood. Not only will it not destroy the purity of the holy water, but it can also keep the efficacy of the holy water unchanged. He was still a little moved. According to what was written in the scriptures, he refined his blood lipids and holy water, cooperated with his own cultivation of the Yijinjing, and was reborn and ascended to the sky. For him, it was like an ant who met honey and couldn't stop.
Yingzi has been working among all kinds of men for many years. He is also relatively clear about the changes in Li Jiaxiong's eyes. Seeing that he is a little moved, he even added: "My jasper gourd has collected the evil spirit of life. If there is a means to make evil pills, it will improve my skills and fight against heart demons. Great effect. If the two agree, the evil spirit of this gourd will also be given to the two of them.
Shisanlang and Li Jiaxiong looked at each other and smiled: "Since Miss Yingzi is so sincere, we can't oppose it too much. Let's make a deal according to what Miss Yingzi said."
After reaching an agreement, the eyes of several people present returned to the process of receiving holy water. The proportion of this refined holy water is quite large, and it is almost not too much compared with the heavy water. The ghost under the mountain stared at the holy water, and carefully put the red sandalwood straw into the holy water, holding a small motor or something in his hand. With the roar, the water level of the holy water gradually decreased, and from the red sandalwood straw, it slowly flowed out into the already prepared clean bottle.
After the flow was completed, Li Jiaxiong sighed and said, "The sacrifice of tens of thousands of people has been delayed for hundreds of years to complete. I'm afraid that thousands of years ago, these wizards would not have thought that these things were cheap to us.
The rest of the people laughed. At this time, although everyone gathered together, it was still a little far away. Shisanlang looked back and forth and ordered left and right: "Take out the prepared jade box and prepare to separate the blood lipids first."
Yingzi stepped back and gave up a place for the two. Li Jiaxiong took out a jade box, which was extremely exquisite. At a glance, he knew that it was not ordinary. He smiled and said to Shisanlang, "If you have a hard work, let's start distributing it."
While they were talking, Zhang Ping, who was hiding, noticed a phenomenon. The monks blocked the exit intentionally or unintentionally, and Shisanlang's men were also slightly changing their position.
Shisanlang also took out a jade box, and the two jade boxes were placed side by side. Pick up the clean bottle and slowly pour the blood lipids in the bottle into the jade box. The blood lipids looked extremely enchanting under the dim lamp oil. The strange red color reminded Zhang Ping of the blood that penetrated into the inkstone that night. After the blood lipid distribution, Ying Zijiao said with a smile, "It's time for the holy water, but I want to remind you that this holy water can't be drunk easily. Be careful to burst it."
The atmosphere in the venue seemed harmonious and peaceful, and the holy water soon poured into the jade bottle brought by Shisanlang and Li Jiaxiong. After collecting the jade bottle and jade box, the two looked at each other and smiled, and each took out a seal, which was the same as what Ouyangqing Tao Yuner had in her hand. There was also a different rune on it. Zhang Ping knew that these were the remaining two spells "Wind" and "Rain"
Shisanlang fiddled with the seal and said curiously, "Miss Yingzi, according to you, this seal should be the so-called four spells of wind, rain, thunder and lightning, but I don't know how this spell works?"
Yingzi squeezed his lips and smiled, "Jujisanlang, do you really think I know everything and know everything? When this spell is said, it is also the conclusion that I have come to after reviewing a lot of information about the Bon religion. Whether it is the key to opening the silver-eye statue is actually an unknown factor.
Li Jiaxiong also looked up and down at the seal in his hand and was reluctant to leave: "Miss Yingzi, since you have a deep understanding of Bon Education, I have a question here. I don't know if you can help me explain it?"
