Plution

Chapter 4 Midnight

Locke lay in the ** of his apartment, tossing and turning, and he couldn't sleep at all. The shadows in the museum, the disappeared mysterious teenager, and the strange events that happened in a row made his heart restless for a moment. Locke turned over.

Looking up outside the window, the shadow of the trees was blowing and the wind was blowing. Locke walked straight to the door. It was customary to walk through the door, but now, the door is useless.

The surroundings are quiet, and the streets are empty. I don't know when the moon has hidden into the thick clouds, and the air looks extremely dull. It looks like it's going to rain. The wind sent a few chirpings of night birds and the whispers of insects, thus showing the silence of the night.

The lights of the city are still bright.

Locke walks through the city like a ghost. Yes, he is indeed like a ghost, because nothing can stop him. Far away, several stray dogs competed for food near the trash can. They suddenly stopped fighting, pricked up their ears to listen for a while, and then ran away like bees.

"Hmm, these pathetic creatures! Their survival is only for the sake of fighting for so little leftovers. Locke snorted coldly.

The dark clouds are getting thicker and heavier, and there is a tendency to crush the city. It seems that the storm is coming soon. Locke hurriedly accelerated his pace.

Soon, Locke came to the vicinity of the Archaeological Museum. He hesitated for a moment and thought: If he was found by the guards and arrested and locked himself in his cell, he would not be able to stay in Greece even if he could get out. However, his intuition told him that he was getting closer and closer to the answer.

No matter, if you don't explore it, you will always feel uneasy and risk it. At worst, you will transfer to another school. After made up his mind, Locke recalled the situation during the day, identified the direction, and walked in through the outer wall on the left. Now Locke has crossed the wall and crossed the room like a flat ground. What else can stop him? In order to avoid the guards and those countless electronic eyes, Locke accelerated his pace, shook only a few times, and then came to Hall 15. Even if it was caught by the monitor, it was just a wisp of wind or a beam of light.

The light in the exhibition hall is very dark, the exhibits exude an ancient atmosphere, and some strange cultural relics look creepy. As the saying goes, a master of art is bold. Now that he has come in, I'm afraid it's useless. Locke is bold and turns his eyes to the exhibit.

That's a bronze ware, one head taller than Locke. The dark shadow Locke saw before appeared near here. As for whether it would appear again, he didn't feel it at all, so he had to be vigilant, tighten every nerve, and be ready to fight back at any time.

There is a dead silence all around. Looking at the Rolex on his wrist, more than ten minutes had passed, and nothing had happened, so he went straight to the exhibit.

This is a bronze statue of a male, tall and powerful, seemingly wearing a robe, holding a sword in his hand, and the tip of the sword is facing up, which looks domineering. Looking at the face, it may be too old and has been eroded by years, or the light is too dark and the outline does not look very clear.

Locke looked up and down the bronze statue and muttered in his heart: Isn't it just an ordinary statue? Compared with other exhibits, it is unlikely to cause the coveted hearts of criminals. After meditating for a while, Locke took a few steps, turned to the side of the bronze statue, looked at it again, and felt a little familiar. Then he turned back and stepped back a few steps. He almost screamed. This back was the man in black that had been appearing in his dream for more than ten years.

I don't know if it's because of excitement, tension, or fear. Locke's eyes are wide open and his mouth is also O-shaped. Bada", bean-sized sweat rolled down his forehead and fell on the marble floor with a crisp sound.

After a long time, Locke asked in a trembling voice, "Who the hell are you? Why did it appear in my dream? After a long time, there was still no reply. He dragged his cotton-like legs to the front of the bronze statue.

At this moment, with a "kac" sound, thunder sounded overhead, and then a snowy lightning cut through the night sky. With bright lightning, Locke suddenly saw that the face of the statue was covered with a silvery mask. Locke rubbed his eyes. Yes, there was an extra mask.

Locke took another step forward and rubbed his eyes vigorously. Yes, it was an extra mask.

"Bada, Bada..." The sweat kept rolling down, and Locke felt that he was going crazy.

"Tell me, who are you? Where have you been these years?

There is still no reply.

I must have been crazy to talk to myself about a statue. Suddenly, a strong curiosity hit him, and he wanted to know whether there was an angel or a devil hidden behind the mask.

Locke rushed forward like crazy and reached out to take off the mask. Suddenly, two golden lights shot from the eyes of the mask and pierced his eyes fiercely.
