Triangular relationship between Liaodong, Sanhan and Dongwu
In the first year of Wu Huanglong of the Three Kingdoms (229), before the cold weather in winter, an unprecedented fleet came to the Jianye River, which immediately attracted viewers.
The foreign merchants who have come to Jianye to trade are all small, and there has never been such a case. The water official of Eastern Wu quickly contacted, which turned out to be an envoy sent by Sun Yuan, Duke of Liaodong.
Gongsun was a separatist force in Northeast China at that time. From his ancestor Gongsun Du to run Liaodong, to Gongsun Yuan usurped the position of his uncle Gongsun Gong in the second year of Wei Taihe, he led two counties of Liaodong, Lelang and Xuandu, 200,000 households and 600,000 people. He worshipped Cao Wei and Liaodong Taishou, riding generals, fake festivals, and sealed Guohou. Although it has been so resealed, the Liaodong area is actually not controlled by Cao Wei. Since Gongsundu, the Gongsun family has regarded the Northeast as private property and punished it arbitrarily. Gongsun Du once divided Liaodong County into Liaoxi Zhongliao County and appointed Taishou. Later, Cao chased the Yuan brothers to Liaodong and made Gongsun Du the Marquis of Yongning. Gongsun Du said decisively, "My king Liaodong, He Yongning!" Show disdain for the Central Plains court. At that time, the Central Plains was in chaos, and most of the characters avoided Liaodong, Yongliang, Jingyang and Shuzhong, so China was weak and strong. Cao Weifang focused on the south, so he treated the Northeast as a "unrivaled territory" and adopted a soft and filiatory attitude towards the Gongsun family. Gongsun also relied on the dangers of mountains and rivers and lived far away from overseas, so they secretly developed their own power.
Gongsun was unruly to the central court, and appeared as a Chinese agent to the small countries in Haidong. Since the Han Dynasty, Liaodong\Lelang counties have handled the contributions of Dongyi countries as representatives of the Central Plains court. Envoys of various countries do not have special identities and circumstances, so they do not have to travel thousands of mountains and rivers to Luoyang, the capital of China, and directly complete the diplomatic ceremony nearby. When the Gongsun clan came to power, he simply cut off the road between Dongyi countries and the Central Plains court, and completely left the envoys of various countries in the territory to pay tribute, so as to actually * themselves in the status of suzerain. Countries are still capted as they are unknown. Or in the era of Gongsundu, Du's daughter married her husband Yu Wangwei Qiutai to make friends. During the Jian'an period, Gongsun Kang divided the wasteland south of Lelang County as a county, and used it as a new diplomatic office, gathering diplomatic officials to deal with foreign affairs. So the three Koreans in the south came to Korea. Gongsun Kang also took advantage of the internal riot of Goguli to attack him, broke his country, burned the city, forced him to move to the capital, and surrendered the rest of the people. It is through several generations of soft and hard use of literature and martial arts that it has finally established a high prestige among the countries of Haidong. At that time, Juli was shocked, the husband was attached to him, and Japan and Han Jingfu, Haidong could not be compared with those, and Xianfu bowed to the bottom of the gap. Gongsun's hegemony is at its peak.
So, by the time of the rebellion of Gongsun Yuan in the second year of Taihe, Gongsun had no worries and was eager to try and wanted to compete in the Central Plains. At that time, Wu Shu's troops took a peek at China. Gongsun is located in the east of the sea. If you want to compete with China, you can meet the only one who echoes Wu Yue. With such a strategic concept, Gongsun Yuan sent the first batch of Liaodong envoys in history. Later, Gongsun Yuan sent three more "misses to Wu".
However, how did the messenger of Liaodong drive to Jiangdong?
Analysis map shows that the waters of the Yellow Sea where the fleet of Liaodong envoys pass through the Yellow Sea coastal current prevails counterclockwise all year round, that is, from south to north on the west coast of the Korean Peninsula and from north to south along the coast of Shandong and Jiangsu. With the navigation technology at that time, although there was a large distance of ocean navigation, it was still dominated by offshore navigation. In fact, until the Yuan Dynasty, China's sea grain carriers still mostly took coastal routes rather than closer routes away from the coast. Therefore, it can be inferred that in the Three Kingdoms period 1000 years before the Yuan Dynasty, offshore navigation would have become more common, and far-sea navigation technology can only be rare in northern China. There is no doubt that the Liaodong messenger fleet sailed along the coast. However, the coast of Shandong/Jiangsu is the sphere of influence of the State of Wei, so Liaodong can only take the west coast of North Korea and move slowly against the sea. Then turn the bow to the southwest somewhere in the southwestern waters of the Korean peninsula, so as to correctly reach the boundary of Wu. The west coast of the Korean Peninsula is a traditional navigation route, which is the only way for Japanese envoys to visit China, which is recorded in detail in the Records of the Three Kingdoms. Gongsun is firmly in control of the countries in Haidong and should be familiar with this route. However, on the vast sea, how does the Liaodong envoy determine where to turn to the southwest and how to determine the angle of steering? The slightest loss is a thousand miles of fallacy, which is still the case for navigators. The calculation is slightly biased, and the goods will drift away, and even die.
For the envoys who shouldered an important national mission at that time, there could not be any deviation. Otherwise, your life is small, and it is very important to delay military and state affairs. Before the death of Gongsun, Gongsun Yuan also sent envoys to Eastern Wu for help. What does Gongsun Yuan, the Liaodong envoy, who is so related to the great mission of the rise and fall of the country, to ensure that he is foolproof?
There is only one possibility: Gongsun has a landing supply point at this waterway turning point. The landing site is in the southwest corner of the Korean Peninsula.
At that time, the southwest of the Korean Peninsula was the sphere of influence of Malaysia and South Korea. And Ma Han is the vassal state of the Gongsun family. The two sides have always been friendly and have never fought. It is completely reasonable for Ma Han to help Gongsun on the waterway. Then the landing supply point is also in Ma Han's territory.
But this is not the final answer. The truth is far from that simple.
In the above, it records such a place as Zhouhu: "Zhouhu is on the big island in the west sea of Malaysia and Han,... Go back and forth by boat and buy Hanzhong in the market.
The same text appears in the biography of Dongyi. Where is Zhou Hu? Observing the map will be clear at a glance. Ma Han was a huge force in the south of Korea at that time. It is said that his ancestors were Wang Zhun, the descendant of Shang Ji who fled from the north. It not only has 54 member states, but also controls the 12 states of Chen, which is composed of Qin immigrants in the east. West of Mahan in the southwest corner of the Korean Peninsula, the only island that can be called Shangda Island is enough to be independent of Mahan, but only Jeju Island. Jeju Island to the Korean Peninsula has frequent trade, "by boat to buy Hanzhong", then it is completely possible for Gongsun to arrive in Zhouhu. Zhouhu, which is closer to Jiangdong than the Korean Peninsula, is used as a landing supply point.
A circumstantial evidence: ***Exploring the sea
According to the biography of Wu in the Three Kingdoms, shortly after the Liaodong envoy arrived at Jianye, in May of the first year of Huanglong, Sun Quan's envoy Zhang Gang and Guan Duzhi's Liaodong. We have no way to know their route. As early as the Jian'an period, Eastern Wu sent envoys to Liaodong, but was killed by Sun Kang, the Duke of Liao at that time. But at that time, the situation had not yet formed, and the north was far from unified. According to the performance of Cao Wei's army in the Red Cliff War, the navy in the north is very weak. Therefore, Eastern Wu can sail along the coast of Shandong and Jiangsu without hesitation. But by 229, the north had been unified for 20 years, and the power of the Wei navy was no longer what it used to be. This is from Cao Pi's six years of Huang Chu's "entered the Huai River with his own boat teacher... The record of watching soldiers in the river, more than 100,000 soldiers and hundreds of miles of banners can be seen. At that time, Cao Pi proudly wrote a poem and said, "Who has a wide river and a reed can sail?" With a weak penitence, he gave such heroic words as his father. It can be imagine that Cao Jun's sailor is in the current prosperous state. It can be said that the progress is insufficient, but the defense is more than enough. Eastern Wu can never go the same way. In the first year of Wu Jiahe (232), General Zhou He went to Liaodong. On his way back, he was attacked by Wei general Tian Yu and beheaded He Chengshan, which also showed this point. Therefore, the opening of the new route to Liaoning has become an urgent problem for Eastern Wu. Instead of exploring the new route aimlessly, it is better to follow the Gongsun family. It is speculated that the Eastern Wu envoy went there on the return ship of Liaodong envoy.
However, for the divided China at that time, every force wanted to act as the only representative of China and form a "small China" group around it, so it invited neighboring countries to visit and create a situation of "all nations coming to the DPRK", thus proving that it was the authentic of China. In the era of Wang Mang's usurpation, he did not forget to forge several foreign envoys and offerings, which shows how important foreign authority is to the Chinese court. Liaodong's prestige in Haidong also has the significance of taking foreign parties to dominate. He cut off China's exchanges with Haidong, and naturally he will not allow other forces to intervene. Therefore, it can be imagined how much useful information can only be obtained by the Eastern Wu envoy on the Liaodong ship. In fact, until the era of great navigation 1400 years later, navigation routes were still a secret between countries. The situation of the Eastern Wu envoy is really understandable.
In the first year of Wu Huanglong (229), in the first month of spring, Sun Quan sent a *** expedition led by generals Wei Wen and Zhuge Zhi to sea to find Qizhou. Yizhou. These two islands have been legendary since ancient times, but in recent years, they have been verified by the people that there is indeed a place, and among them, there are rumors that the First Emperor of Qin sent Xu Fu to take thousands of boys and women into the sea to ask the Penglai immortals. Xu Fu was afraid to return it, so he stopped this continent."() In fact, the people have never verified ancient myths, but they have just found the "New World" overseas, using ancient nouns. Let's not talk about the legendary grotesque and mystery, but say that there are tens of thousands of people in the New World. According to the calculation of one family of five in China, the population of the land should be more than 100,000. It can be seen that this population is exaggerated, but it should not be less than 50,000. What is wonderful is that the people of this continent are "in time to meet" to carry out trade, but the Chinese cannot reach its place. Only when you encounter a strong wind can you accidentally drift to the other party's land. It is said that Chinese navigation was first-class in East Asia at that time. How could there be a route that foreigners could not know? Besides, where is such a populous and mysterious island? Reading the map, in the east of China, only three islands in Jeju, Kyushu and Taiwan can correspond to it. This expedition only found Yizhou (in fact, it is not necessarily Yizhou, which is not a folklore), and Qizhou was not found because it was too far away. This "Yizhou" is now Taiwan and has become the consensus of contemporary scholars. Then Taiwan Island can be excluded.
In the sixth year of Hirohito (815) in Japan, there is such an article:
Musa village owner----wu sun quan nan gaoのhou――――――――――――――Zuojing Zhuboxia
Musa Wu Gong----After the King Qingqing, the son of the King of Wu--I don't see------Undetermined miscellaneous surname Yamato
ci tian sheng―――――wu guo wang、sun haoのhou、fu jia mou zhi junのhou――――he nei guo zhu fan
Bee field pharmacist----after the lord of Wu, Sun Quanwang--――――――――--Hequan Kingdom and Zhubo
These four families are all clans of the State of Wu. Sun Quan's eldest son Deng, with a high character, and his descendants moved east and changed his surname to Chivalrous in Japan. Shixia, a work of "Musa", is the place name of Takashi County in Yamato Province. After the descendants of Sun Deng moved to Japan, they took the name of the place. Whether this record is true or false, it can be seen that Eastern Wu has a direct relationship with Japan. If it is true, the value needs to be said; that is, if it is false, it is false, then one premise is that the reputation of the descendants of the State of Wu is enough to elevate their identity. The compiled era has been five or six hundred years after the fall of Eastern Wu, and the descendants of the King of Wu are still a noble identity admired by ordinary people. This can only be explained that the powerful national power of Eastern Wu had a significant impact on Japan and left a deep impression on its people. On the other hand, if the State of Wu had no diplomatic relations with Japan, the Japanese would never be in awe of the royal family of a strange country that had already perished. That is to say, Eastern Wu opened a sea route to Kyushu until its demise. Therefore, this "Juzhou" that has no contact can only be Jeju Island.
However, what is the purpose of Sun Quan's exploration of the continent? Why send Jia Shida *** to explore the sea? Some people think that it is to go to sea to capture the population. However, combined with the previous article, it is not difficult to find that this expedition is only one year away from that of the Liaodong envoy, and it is exactly after the return of the response envoy. Therefore, based on the previous speculation, it can be further believed that because the previous messenger did not have accurate navigational information, this time went to sea to find the inflection point of the route from Liaodong to Jiangdong based on the limited information provided by the messenger. The reason why the people in Qizhou have no contact is that Gongsun has a supply point on it, thus blocking the information. Eastern Wu sent Jiashi to accompany the expedition to seize this stronghold. In this way, this unidentified exploration of the sea in Eastern Wu has become a strong proof that Gongsun has a stronghold on Jeju Island. And Jiashi dispatched as many ***, and we can estimate the size of the stronghold. However, the two generals not only lost their way and went astray, but also deceived false reports and tried to muddle through, so they were directly beheaded.
The harvest of Dongwu
Japan appeared very early in China's historical books, and the oldest can be traced back to the Classic of Mountains and Seas. But from the beginning, there was a detailed description of Japan. After that, until the history of Song, there were no new changes in the Japanese chronicles. As we know, until the Southern Song Dynasty, the impression of Japan has always been "in the southeast sea of Gaoli", and Japan's pilgrimage route is still from Tsuima to the south bank of the peninsula, and then north along the coast, but the second half is not sailing to Liaodong or Luoyang in northern China, but south along the Jiangsu coast into the mouth of the Yangtze River. It can be seen that in the Three Kingdoms and Wu era, China absolutely did not have a direct route to Japan. However, Japan now has a large number of archaeological evidence such as bronze mirrors, which proves the exchange between Eastern Wu and Japan. Moreover, as mentioned above, the royal clan of Eastern Wu finally fled to Japan. How to explain this? There is only one possibility: although Eastern Wu can't go directly to Japan, it has mastered the route from the Korean Peninsula to Japan. Then, Eastern Wu must have found a landing point on the Korean Peninsula. It can be seen that although Dongwu did not find the legendary Zhouzhou, it did not achieve nothing at all. Of course, this discovery is not necessarily in *** exploring the sea.
Compared with the vast East China Sea, the probability of going to the sea from Jiangdong to the Korean Peninsula is much higher than that of Jeju. Due to Ma Han's strong strength and "goodwill" attitude towards Gongsun at that time, Gongsun did not pay much attention to him. This creates an opportunity for Dongwu's intervention. Eastern Wu can use the traditional principle of thinness and kindness in exchange for the trust of the Malaysian and South Koreans, so that Malaysia and South Korea can taste the sweetness and be willing to assist Eastern Wu to establish diplomatic relations with it. Of course, all this was carried out in the concealment of Gongsun. Ma Han, one servant and two masters, met the source left and right. At that time, it should have been a great benefit, but it also laid the root of disaster for the future.
Another circumstantial evidence: Juuli's great escape
In the spring and March of Wu Jiahe's second year (233), Sun Quan sent important officials such as Taichang Zhang Mi, Zhijinwu Xu Yan, General He Da, etc., leading seven or 8,000 soldiers, carrying gold treasures, nine tin supplies, and vastly marching to Liaodong. As a result, the mission was plotted by Gongsun Yuan, and Zhang Mi and others were cut off their heads and sent to Luoyang for reward. Nearly 10,000 soldiers were enriched by the border or confiscated as slaves, and all the treasures of money and treasures were brought into the inner government. To be friendly (?) The purpose of the brigade was annihilated in an instant, and they were sent to a dead end by themselves, which really annoyed Sun Quan, an old man with purple in the year of Huajia. He shouted angrily and declared that he would pay for blood. Shang Shu's servant shot Xue Zong and others immediately came to stop it. That's how it happened.
However, Sun Quan's mission was not completely destroyed. Qin Dan, Zhang Qun, Du De and Huangjiang escaped from the heavy pursuit from Xuandu County, crossed the Chuanling Mountains, cut through the thorns, and finally reached the Julu Kingdom in the east. There, they received treatment and supplies from the king's "Palace" and finally brought thousands of local mink, ten chicken skins, and 25 attendants to live in Jiangdong.
However, how did these four desperate messengers return to China?
For reference, we can know that the sentence here is Goguryeo. Goguryeo lives in the mountains and fields, and is not used to water. The impoverished Eastern Wu envoy can't go to sea from here without a boat. They can't turn back to Liaodong to find a ferry, so the starting point for them to return home can only be the coast of Sanhan. It was mentioned above that at that time, all forces in the world had a strong desire for traffic with foreign countries, so this time the Eastern Wu envoy passed through the three Koreas, and the State of Wu was bound to establish diplomatic relations with the three Koreas in the future. Then take the three Koreas as the starting point to carry out exchanges with the Japanese. From this meaning*, the four envoys' escape not only opened the window to Goguryeo, but also opened the door to official exchanges between Japan and South Korea, with outstanding achievements.
However, is this the only true? There are still some doubts. It would be strange if the four envoys got out of the tiger's mouth and went straight to the east. Liaodong is far away in the north of Jiangdong. The foreign country fled and ran out of food. Why did the four envoys exhaust their efforts? Especially on the way to escape, Zhang Qun advised everyone to leave themselves and walk forward and say, "It's appropriate for you to enter the road quickly and hope to achieve something." It seems that they have already had a set goal and are not at a loss to escape into the wilderness. It can be guessed that they have known the Ju Li Kingdom in the east of Xuantong County for a long time. They even clearly understood that it had a deep resentment with the Gongsun family. "The edict was given to be captured by Liaodong" and used such words to deceive the palace. And Gongsun will not disclose this information to them, so the source of the information can only be Dongwu's own intelligence collection station on the Korean Peninsula. In addition, it seems too lucky for the four envoys to find a ship that can accommodate 30 people and carry a certain cargo along the coast of the Korean Peninsula and eventually safely cross the East China Sea to return to the motherland. The reasonable explanation is that they were helped by Eastern Wu's strongholds on the Korean Peninsula. In this way, it can be seen that the diplomatic relations between Sanhan and Eastern Wu will come earlier, and the escape incident only provides a lower limit for us to determine the beginning of the diplomatic relations between South Korea and Wu.
An more circumstantial evidence: an empty map
In the second year of Wei Jingchu, Cao Rui sent both sea and land to attack the Gongsun family. Among them, Liu Xin and Xianyu settled the two counties with Fang Lelang, and now rewarded the minister Zhi (larger tribal leader) of Sanhan with the seal of Yi County and Yi Chief in an attempt to maintain traditional friendship. However, Ma Han doesn't seem to buy it. Later, when Gong Zun\Liu Mao managed the second county of Lelang, Wu Lin believed that Sanhan was the territory of Lelang, and Chen was an old Chinese citizen, so he planned to divide eight of the twelve countries of Chen under the jurisdiction of Lelang. As a result, because the translator made a mistake, and Chen Zhi stirred up a fire beside him. The king of South Korea was furious and sent troops to attack Fang Junqi from the camp. As a result, the company of the second county counterattacked, and Ma Han was destroyed by the second county.
Gong Zun also died in this battle.
Since the Chinese army fought with Malaysia and South Korea and went deep into its territory, broke through his national capital and destroyed it, it can be imagined that it must have a deep understanding of the geographical position of the other party. However, it is ridiculous that although the location and direction of the evil horse platform in the Queen's Kingdom of Miyuan is very detailed, there is no record of the geographical location of 78 countries in three Korea. We can imagine that when Cao Wei officials draw a map of Haidong, the outline of the Han Peninsula will be very complete and accurate, but it will be blank... Even if it is understood that China attaches more importance to Japan than the three Koreas, it is difficult to fully explain. The above facts show that even after the war, Cao Wei could not really control and understand the three Koreas. This can only be understood as another information shield -- but not at sea -- Wu people control Ma Han by virtue of their strongholds in Ma Han, so that Cao Wei can't get the trust of Sanhan and can't get the exact information of Sanhan. Moreover, Ma Han, who has always been a friendly country and has not been at war with China, why did they meet swords this time? Ma Han's guilt is not deep. Why must the two counties perish? How could Gong Zun, the first-class governor of Changsheng County, who had experienced several battles, die in the battlefield? It can be seen that this battle is not as simple as the history ***, and there is even the instigation and participation of the Wu people. Perhaps the "Mahan" that Cao Wei destroyed was just a state in the northern part of the fifty-four countries of Malaysia and South Korea. After that, the rise of the Boji countries among the Malaysian and Han countries, and the unification of the countries is the powerful Baekje countries in the Northern and Southern Dynasties.
Summary
As mentioned above, we can roughly describe South Korea's diplomatic relations during the Three Kingdoms period by stitching the fragments of ancient books and verifying the truth of history. At first, South Korea was a vassal of the Gongsun family. The Gongsun family controlled the route from Liaodong to Jiangdong by establishing strongholds in Zhouhu. Then, through the exploration activities from 229 to 233, although he did not find Jizhou, he found a landing point in the southwest of the Korean Peninsula, thus mastering the route from Jiangdong to Liaodong, and carrying out diplomacy with the three Korean and Japanese. Ma Han began to submit to Eastern Wu and engaged in the second master and reap huge profits. Duke Sun was destroyed, and Eastern Wu took advantage of the vacancy of Haidong's power to firmly control Sanhan, which made Cao Wei unable to intervene. He even instigated Sanhan to go to war with Cao Wei and personally intervened in the war. Ma Han finally got involved in the fate of the dispute between Wu and Wei on the Korean Peninsula.
* The specific arrival month is not recorded. However, according to the seasonal wind, the time of China Southern Airlines should be winter; and according to the time when Sun Quan sent the envoy the following year, it is roughly estimated that the spring of 229 is reached. This problem is not related to the grand purpose, so it has not been deeply studied below.

[Chapter 1 of the first draft of the new book]
Chapter 1
The high-hanging sun unscrupulously casts a poisonous edge on the earth. Although it is not the time to fall into the earth, the land of Jianghuai is as early as ever placed into the stove.
Lin Muyuan looked at a small forest in front of him, and suddenly recovered a little strength from the heat and suffering. He trotted into the shade like a treasure, threw the heavy backpack behind him on the ground and sat down against a tree trunk.
In the past few days, he has been ruthlessly squeezed by the hot weather every day. He has hoped more than once that even if there is no air conditioning and cold drinks, he can at least show his chest generously like in the 21st century. You know, what I'm wearing now is a dark brown linen robe with a blouse and trousers inside. Anyone can see that this is by no means a suitable outfit for summer.
Only since he came to this era a year ago, he has not only gained a new identity and a special profession, but also has an important mission. If he is not careful, he will even worry about his life. Because of this, even if the linen robe penetrated by sweat is extremely uncomfortable, I can only grit my teeth and bear it silently.
After taking down the kettle that had been hung on the side of the backpack, which had been half empty, Lin Muyuan resisted the impulse of drinking a cow and swallowed some water as little as possible. The kettle was not filled until I left Jurong County in the morning. At this time, there is not much left. Before arriving at Jiangning, the destination of this trip, I'm afraid there is no place to replenish water and food.
Reinstalling the wooden plug of the kettle, he took a long breath, raised his body and changed to a more comfortable posture, squinted at the end of the forest speciously, and couldn't help but feel a little melancholy and sighed. Since Hong Kong officially began this trip, whether it is on a fireship to Shanghai, or with a caravan to travel to and from Suzhou and Shanghai, or to live alone after crossing Taihu Lake, he will sigh from the bottom of his heart that his "fate" is so tortuous.
The inexplicable crossing to Hong Kong in 1825 was already an incredible experience, and the experience in the following months can be described as a peak. It seems that everything has been arranged in the dark. Even if the plan only wants to use advanced knowledge and thinking to be an ordinary person who doesn't have to worry about food and clothing, he can't get what he wants, but he happens to meet a church member surnamed Hong, but he has become a student of the Hong priest, and the Hong priest's name is Hong Renji.
Every time he sighed here, Lin Muyuan couldn't help showing a wry smile: "Fate" is really elusive!
If he hadn't been in a place on the northwest outskirts of Jurong County at this moment, he would never have believed that he could carry Hong Renji's secret letter and a new flinkgo gun, and reach Jiangning, or Tianjin, the capital of the current Taiping Heavenly Kingdom.
Even in the 21st century, it will never be easy to travel thousands of miles like this! Not to mention that the Tianping Heavenly Kingdom is in the fierce battle between the Qing army. After Nanjing was renamed Tianjin, the Su and Shanghai area has already become a serious military ring. You can imagine how risk this trip is.
"Alas, at least I finally got to Jurong County, and this should also be regarded as the land of Tianjing."
Just a few days after arriving in Shanghai, it was rumored that the Jiangbei camp in Shanghai was fiercely attacked by the Taiping army, and the situation of the Qing army was precarious. When they arrived in Suzhou a few days later, they heard that the Jiangbei camp had already been lost, and the Taiping army was besieging the Jiangnan camp. Just yesterday evening, when I passed by the suburbs of Jurong County, I witnessed hundreds of green battalions retreating to the southeast in a hurry. It is not difficult to imagine that the Taiping Army has cleaned up the Qing army around Tianjing. According to the time, I'm afraid that the business in the south of the Yangtze River has been broken.
Lin Muyuan tightened his nerves for more than ten days, and finally relaxed a little with this self-spoken.
It is really ironic to recall the reason why Hong Renji promised to send letters to Tianjin. Part of it is out of gratitude. After all, the past year's life in Hong Kong was completely supported by Hong Renji; the other part is a momentary brain fever, always thinking that people must be unable to have advanced thoughts and consciousness; in addition, it may also be influenced by Hong Renyi's religious agitation.
Although he has always been unwilling to admit that he was brainwashed by an ancient man, there is no need to complain about it now. The end of this trip is just around the corner. Anyway, it is a positive result. When he enters Tianjing City and submits a letter from Hong Renji to Hong Xiuquan, the king of heaven, he will definitely get a good official rank in the Taiping Army and enjoy the blessing of Qingfu for a period of time.
At the thought of this, more than half of the previous melancholy mood went away. Lin Muyuan put the kettle beside him, slowly closed his eyes, and thought about how to do something big after arriving in Tianjing. Zhou Ma Lao and nervous for several consecutive days suddenly relaxed and had a very pleasant feeling, and unconsciously took a nap.
I don't know how long it has passed, and suddenly there was a crisp sound not far away, which seemed to be the sound of a dry branch breaking.
Lin Muyuan suddenly woke up, and his relaxed mental state tightened again. He quickly looked around with a suspicious and alert face. The woods are as quiet as ever, and the sunlight near the evening is slightly soft and weak, spreading a patchy spot on the ground through the branches, and those light spots ripple and swaying with the seemingly majestic wind.
"It seems that I not only fell asleep just now, but also had a dream."
took a deep breath. Lin Muyuan didn't think much about the movement just now. Seeing that it was not early, he thought it was best to find a place to settle down before dark, and it was best to meet the Taiping Army directly. As he got up from the ground, he grabbed the kettle thrown aside. If you are a person with wild survival experience at this time, you will inevitably find the abnormality of the surrounding environment. It is precisely because there is no quiet sound of birds and animals, which is the problem.
Just as soon as he got upright, there was a sudden muffled sound behind a cluster of grass in front of him, and a dark shadow rushed to his face. Before I could react, I only felt a hot wind above my head, and a feather arrow was embedded in the trunk behind me.
Lin Muyuan reached out and touched the forehead with only an inch of long hair, and then realized that the arrow had pierced a layer of skin. As long as it was slightly lowered by half an inch, it was his forehead.
"My...Mom..."
Even if he has been facing the inspection of Qing military sentries and patrols almost every day for more than ten days, he has not been as panicked and afraid as he is at this moment. Only when real life is on the line will people have a feeling of walking in front of the ghost gate. Previously, I was complaining about the hot weather, but at this moment, I was already scared into a cold sweat.
Instinctively, he was about to turn around and run away. There was another "sw" in the grass, and the second arrow was right on the kettle in his hand. Lin Muyuan staggered to the ground in a hurry, and the kettle was tilted aside, and the place where the arrow pole was inserted was leaking.
The accident happened so suddenly that he could no longer care about anything else. He couldn't help exclaiming and quickly fled in the opposite direction. He was still annoyed that he went to Tianjing, but he encountered this incident when he was close to the door. With all his strength, he crawled for a period of time on the ground. He finally stabilized his figure and was ready to straighten up and run instead. At this moment, several figures suddenly flashed behind several big trees in front of him. He hasn't seen these people clearly, and several bright knives have been put on his neck.
"No... don't kill me, I... I'm a missionary of the Xinyi Society..." In a panic, he blurted out his identity almost without thinking. All the way, no matter what kind of person or thing you encounter, the identity of the missionary can more or less provide a certain guarantee. At present, it has naturally become a life-saving straw.
There was a sound behind him, and there was even the sound of horseshoes and horse hiss in the distance.
A quarter of an hour ago, it was still a quiet forest, and a large group of heavily armed people appeared in a blink of an eye.
Lin Muyuan shrank and held his head, but he still summoned up the courage to look around. These people seemed to have come out of thin air without warning. They were all dressed in white long clothes and trousers. They were all dressed in a vest-like earth-colored coat on the outside of their coats, and they also wore dark yellow scarf hats on their heads. There are also some cavalry approaching on the outskirts of the forest, and all the horses sitting down are also standard black.
It can be distinguished from the dress style alone. Obviously, this is not a Qing army. After thinking for a moment, you can know that this must be a Taiping army without more guessing.
After roughly seeing the situation around him, he stabilized his mood a little. He secretly said that the water really washed the Dragon King Temple, and then straightened up and quickly explained, "Guys, don't be impatient, don't be impatient, this is just a misunderstanding..." He only said half of his words, and he hasn't even said the most important words, very I was almost stunned again.
I never thought that whether it was a few Taiping soldiers holding knives around their necks, or people surrounding them from all directions, and even those cavalrymen walking around the periphery, were all women. Of course, he knew very well that the Taiping Army did have a military establishment of women's battalions in history, and should not have made a fuss about it, but one is very few such a formation, the other is that the women who can go to the battlefield are basically five or three, and three are almost rare officers.
Most of the female soldiers of the Taiping Army in front of them have a good figure and are beautiful at a glance. In addition, everyone is equipped with knives and bows, and are equipped with horses with the same hair color, which shows that they are well equipped. More importantly, everyone wears yellow hoods and hats.
As a modern history enthusiast, he has conducted a profound study on the history of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. Earlier, he also complained about the top-down yellow scarf hats of the Taiping Army in some film and television works, because only some senior generals of the Taiping Army in history are qualified to wear such headwear. You should know that the Taiping Army is not the Yellow Turban Army at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty!
It is precisely because of these considerations that there is no way to determine what these female soldiers are for a while.
Lin Muyuan carefully looked at the knife-wielding female soldier closest to him. Although the three of them were tightly wrapped in long gowns and trousers, it could be seen from his cheeks and neck that his skin color was only slightly red and not too dark. Obviously, he had not been out for a long time.
Not only that, the appearance of these three female soldiers is beautiful, with a strong outfit and a majestic look, and there is a strong and soft sexy look. Especially the person on the far left, whose visual age is only eighteen or nineteen, has a thin and delicate face, and the tight clothes above and below highlight his graceful figure, which really has two or three temperament. Lin Muyuan couldn't help looking at it even at such a critical moment.
"** thief, where are you looking!"
The female soldiers didn't understand why the strangely dressed man suddenly stopped halfway. They were waiting for the other party to finish speaking, but gradually found that the man's eyes were getting more and more strange. The young female soldier on the far left saw Lin Muyuan staring straight at her. Her cheeks were hot, and her heart also burned with anger. After shouting, she waved the blade of the long knife in her hand and slapped her head fiercely.
"Ah! Heroine... calm your anger, I'm not a ** thief, I'm really not a ** thief." Lin Muyuan was hit hard, and a red and swollen mark suddenly appeared on his head. He shrank up again and put his head in his hands and hurriedly defended, "I, I just haven't seen a woman in a firm and tenatical position, so I feel surprised. That's all. There is no offense."
"Look at your strange dress and such a smooth tone, you must be a fine work sent by the Qing demon."
"Hurry up and follow the truth!"
While scolding, the two female soldiers pressed the knife against Lin Muyuan's neck more tightly.
The cold blade conveyed the piercing cold. Lin Muyuan felt that his sweat was almost frozen. He held on to his confidence, pointed to his robe, and pretended to be solemnly, "Sisters... heroine, as I said earlier that I am a missionary from the Xinyi Society, from Hong Kong. This is the robe of our Faith Church. In addition, I am by no means a Qing demon. On the contrary, on this trip, I will go to Tianjing to meet Hong Tianwang and hand over the letter of Mr. Hong Yiqian, my family teacher.
The female soldier in front of him looked at each other in contempt, and the tall man in the middle did not change his face and said coldly, "Full of nonsense, how can the King of Heaven be seen if he wants to see him? It's embarrassing that you are a Chinese but a missionary of foreign religion.
Lin Muyuan can't laugh or laugh. Although there are many differences between worship God and Christianity, Hong Xiuquan and others are also influenced by Christianity. How can they be regarded as the same lineage? How can they belittle Christianity in turn? However, when the sword was drawn, he was not in the mood to explain the origin of religion to these women soldiers of the Taiping Army, so he had to continue to say: "This heroine..."
"What a heroine, we are all holy soldiers of heaven!"
"Well, well, this holy soldier, my master, Mr. Hong Yiqian, is the younger brother of the king. You may not know him, but as long as you can take me to Tianjin and transfer the letter from my teacher to the king of heaven, the king will naturally understand all the reasons. Lin Muyuan changed his tone and seemed to be very sincere and meticulous.
As soon as they heard the words "the king's younger brother", several female soldiers were slightly stunned, and then their faces showed sarcasm. Naturally, they did not know who "Hong Yiqian" was in Lin Muyuan's mouth, but even if there was such a person, they could never be believed by the stranger in front of them with a few simple words, but Lin Muyuan pretended to be decent, which was really funny.
"Do you think we are all fools? If you are the apprentice of the younger brother of the Heavenly King, how can you still have the unclean thing on your head? It's obviously a fraud."
"It seems that you really won't tell the truth if I don't give you a little strength." The tall child soldier said gloomily, and then raised the long knife in his hand to cut Lin Muyuan's shoulder.
"Slow, wait, you call yourself a holy soldier. Why are you unreasonable at all? Even if I'm telling a lie, you have to prove that I'm telling a lie first. What's more, if I tell the truth, how will you explain to the king of heaven in the future? Seeing that the knife fell and was determined to see blood, Lin Muyuan couldn't help shouting and saying a channel to reason. He came here after a journey of 3,000 miles. Since he was able to cope with the heavy inspections of the Qing army along the way, he naturally expected the situation when he met with the Taiping army. These words had been expected in his heart for a long time.
The long knife waved stopped, and the female soldiers had to admit that Lin Muyuan's words were really to the point. Whether it was true or not, there was no approval now. The other party suddenly had a relationship with the king of heaven. As the saying goes, they are not afraid of ten thousand, just in case. If one's words are true, how can they explain to the king of heaven?
not only did the three female soldiers holding the knife hold Lin Muyuan show doubts, but the other female soldiers in the neighboring wife also fell into a moment of hesitation, or meditating or whispering.
Lin Muyuan breathed a little relief and sighed in his heart that he was well prepared. Just as he was about to continue to explain and take out the letter to further confirm his identity, a cold and clear voice suddenly came from behind him: "What's your name?"
Listening to this tone of questioning, he thought he was an old and prestigious figure. However, when Lin Muyuan turned around and looked at him, he found that the speaker was actually a petite girl, and could not even be called a girl. At a glance, he saw that the other party was less than 15 years old, and his small chest had not yet been fully released. Yu, just like a little Lori. However, this little Lori's dress is very different from other female soldiers. The dress is not a simple vest, but a beautifully decorated leather armor. It is not a wind towel hat on her head, but simply wrapped in a red scarf, revealing a shoulder-length pony tail.
The girl held the hilt of the short sword tied to her waist in one hand, and the other held a long bow in her hand, which was quite heroic with tight leather armor. Unfortunately, her figure was too small and not tall, and it was still difficult to hide a kind of cute and naughty like a "little adult". Lin Muyuan noticed that most of the other female soldiers carried the long bow on their shoulders or on horseback, but she held the long bow upside down in her hand and vaguely realized that the person who had shot arrows in the grass before should be this child.
Two female soldiers were followed behind Little Lori. One of them was twisting Lin Muyuan's bag. A cut in the bag had been opened, and many clothes were** outside; the other female soldier was holding a musket, which was a flintlock gun that had been hidden in the bag earlier. It can be seen that the bag has been thoroughly searched just now.
"In the lower forest Muyuan, a believer."
Lin Muyuan pretended to be a scholar and deliberately replied in a literary tone.
When Little Lori approached the other two female soldiers, the female soldiers who had surrounded Lin Muyuan subconsciously took half a step back, put down the blades in their hands and changed into a respectful posture.
Lin Muyuan caught a glimpse of this scene from the corners of his eyes, and his heart couldn't help but eat it secretly: Is it too exaggerated that this little girl's head is actually their head?
"You just said that you came from Hong Kong. I won't ask how you can be unscathed along the way. You said that your master Hong Yiqian is the younger brother of the King of Heaven, and Hong Yiqian is his real name?" The little girl stood in front of Lin Muyuan and stared at Lin Muyuan with a scrutiny look. When she spoke, her tone was very low, and there was a coldness in her.
In Lin Muyuan's view, if the girl doesn't speak, her beautiful and soft appearance and thin ponytails must be a lovely girl like a loli. But this low, cold and almost gloomy way of speaking should not appear in people of this age, let alone a girl!
"My teacher's surname is Hong, taboo Renji, and his name is Yiqian." Although he was stunned, he answered calmly.
"I know Uncle Ren, and I have heard that others are indeed in Hong Kong now." Little Lori's face did not change, and her tone seemed to be frozen as cold and gloomy, as if it were a machine without emotional thoughts.
"Oh, that's great, finally someone knows the family teacher... Er, wait, you just called the family teacher Uncle Ren, and you have met him? Do you mean that you are the emperor of heaven? Lin Muyuan reacted and immediately asked suspiciously.
Lin Muyuan was really bitter. He originally placed the two letters separately. How could he know that Su Song's letter of introduction from the Taoist platform would inexplicably get into this Tao Te Ching? What's more unfortunate is that it fell out at this time, which completely made a simple thing add a lot of unnecessary troubles.
The girl was just a cold expression before, and an amazing sense of hatred broke out in a blink of an eye. Even if her face was still so beautiful, people could no longer find even a little feminine. She did not intend to stab Lin Muyuan to death with a sword, but her hand holding the dagger was very hard. The tip of the sword had pierced Lin Muyuan's robe and underwear and plunged into flesh and blood.
This pain is naturally nothing for Lin Muyuan, but at this moment, he finally had an awareness in his heart. Finally, he understood that the biggest difference between the little Lori in front of him and ordinary people is not that she is not without innocence or blindly indifference and gloomy, but the "grinking" that will never linger behind the indifference and gloomy. .
It's hard to imagine what kind of terrible experience will make a young girl so terrible.
However, at present, he is in a situation of adding a sword. He doesn't have so much thought to think about anything else, but when he thinks that these female soldiers of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom are quite unreasonable, even if he is a little Lori supervisor who hopes to deal with the problem calmly, he has almost lost his mind and becomes a fierce appearance. How can't he Not disappointed?
"Well, if you really think I'm fine, then kill me. Qingyao really knows how to arrange detailed work. Before entering Tianjing, he was recognized by a group of little women. Anger prevailed at this moment. Even Lin Muyuan was still afraid that the dagger against his chest would plunge deep into it, but at this moment, there was an impulse not to spit out.
"Who do you think is the little girl!" With fire in her eyes, Little Lori suddenly twisted Lin Muyuan's braids, and her hand holding the sword made a point harder.
"I'm talking about you. I haven't figured out anything yet. I just know how to fight and kill! Yes, that is indeed a letter of introduction signed by Shanghai Daotai, but have you finished reading the full text? I'm afraid that you can't recognize a few words at all, just recognize Su Song. Let me tell you, this letter of introduction is that Mr. He Lishi, a priest of the Faith Church, took a lot of words to ask Shanghai Taoist Taiwan to open this letter. If I hadn't had this letter, how could I have come here through the heavy sentry card? Lin Muyuan's blood surged into his heart and simply didn't care about anything and roared like venting.
Little Lori's face turned a little red, and her small chest fluctuated, like a small volcano about to erupt.
She pulled Lin Muyuan's braids hard. Originally, she was not as tall as Lin Muyuan, but she pulled Lin Muyuan down and bent down. Then he raised the dagger in his hand and knocked hard on Lin Muyuan's forehead twice with the hilt. While beating, he gritted his teeth and said angrily, "Call you little women, tell you that you can't read words, and make you look down on people!"
Lin Muyuan grinned with pain. How could a big man bully you by a little girl, and the aggrieved mood in his heart suddenly burst out. He waved his hands and struggled, trying to catch little Lori's violent hands. But as soon as he made a move, several female soldiers around him rushed up and grabbed his hands and pressed them directly to the ground.
"Bully, okay, kill me, I will never beg for mercy. Just as Lin Muyuan has no eyes and says that a family in the world and enjoys peace together is nonsense. You are a group of unreasonable barbarians. The teacher asked me to polish the firearm and went through a lot of hard work to get to Tianjing to help you. It's really disappointing. It's really blind."
Even if he was overwhelmed by several people on the ground, Lin Muyuan still refused to accept it easily. While criticizing from the bottom of his heart, he desperately twisted his body to break free from the bondage.
Little Lori was so angry that she couldn't speak, and she heard Lin Muyuan's crazy words, and she was murderous for a moment.
However, even so, she did not do it immediately. She just stared fiercely at Lin Muyuan, who was pressed on the ground with murderous eyes, and her little hand holding the dagger trembled faintly because of excessive force.
"Your excellency, let's calm down first. Here... there seems to be a letter."
At this time, the beautiful female soldier who had previously scolded Lin Muyuan as a "** thief" picked up the Tao Te Ching from the ground, turned over the side of the book and sewed the letter, and handed her hands to the little Lori.
Little Lori took over the Tao Te Ching angrily, but just took a casual look and then handed it back to the female soldier.
"Conceed it and wait until you go back to identify the true and false." Although her chest was still undulating, her tone returned to a normal cold state.
Lin Muyuan naturally heard what the other party said and realized that this violent little girl believed in herself. However, even so, he did not feel relieved. He only felt that he was severely beaten by the female soldiers of the Taiping Army, and his anger could not be calmed down anyway. However, even if you are disappointed, there is no other way. Since you must continue to look forward when you get on this boat, it is not wise to jump halfway.
"Now, okay, can you let me go?" He gasped and said word by word. His tone was no longer as wild and impulsive as before, but it was also full of unconcealed resentment.
Several female soldiers who captured Lin Muyuan couldn't think about it, but they subconsciously reduced some of their strength.
"Bund him up first." Just as Lin Muyuan was about to stand up, the girl supervisor coldly issued an order.
The female soldiers hesitated for a moment, and finally did so quickly.
Seeing that the destination Tianjing is right in front of you, you have to turn back the same way. You can imagine how diaphragmful this mood is.
Lin Muyuan originally thought that on the way back to Jurong, this diaphragmful mood would become his biggest headache. However, not long after the team set off, he soon realized that what kind of diaphragm and what kind of mood was second. Everyone was equipped with a mount, but no one was willing to ride with him. Not only that, he had to be led by a rope to follow the horse's buttocks.
The only fortunate thing is that the person holding the rope is the beautiful female soldier who talked about before. In Lin Muyuan's view, only the other party is reasonable. The beautiful female soldiers did not make it too difficult during the whole trip. From time to time, they would slow down the horse speed, so that Lin Muyuan had enough time to calm down.
However, even so, there will be no relief for Lin Muyuan. If he still has the strength to resist or complain, he will spare no effort to take action. However, half of the journey has been completely lost. The only thing in his mind is to preserve his strength as much as possible, otherwise it will only make him more suffering and sad mentally and physically.
When I came to Jurong County again, the sky was completely dark.
The female soldiers did not enter the city easily and first settled in a deserted village in the suburbs. It is well known that the military discipline of the Qing army can make all kinds of evil deeds, let alone make a fortune when the army is defeated and fled. The poor people near the county either went bankrupt and became displaced, or their families fled from the poverishment, or fled to long hair in anger.
Subsequently, the little Loli supervised the army in an orderly manner and sent several scouts to quietly explore the situation outside the county. Although the Jiangnan camp has been destroyed by the Taiping Army, the Qing army still has remnants of stationed troops near Zhenjiang, Guangde and Yanziji. In addition, there are still more than 10,000 Qing soldiers who have been defeated by the Jiangnan battalion, and it will take some time to retreat.
Chapter 4
Li Wencheng and Zhang Minghan temporarily settled in the camp, and Li Kaifang and his subordinates still gathered in the farmhouse.
The news brought by Li Wencheng today is really important, but it has created a series of new problems at the same time.
According to Li Wencheng's meaning, it seems that everything must be done according to his will. In two days, action must be taken anyway. If this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is missed, the Northern Expeditionary Army will inevitably trapped in Cangzhou. Perhaps other generals will empathize, but for Li Kaifang, Li Wencheng's breakout plan is fine, but it is this strong attitude that leaves a seemingly unparamountable obstacle in his heart.
To some extent, he is very inclined to Li Wencheng's plan. It is not difficult to see from Li Wencheng's talk that the other party is by no means a mediocre talent. Since he has formulated this detailed breakthrough plan, he must have been fully prepared. As for making plans without any prior discussion, it may be attributed to extraordinary measures.
" Prime Minister, ten thousand steps back, we are not familiar with the details of this man. Even if the news he brought is true, breaking through is ultimately a big deal, and only two days are not even prepared enough. Besides, isn't it true that you don't want to inform Prime Minister Lin? Isn't this equivalent to betraying Prime Minister Lin?
Luo Daniel seems to be a little unwilling. As an authentic farmer, he has always hated those scholars who like to show off, especially the Heavenly King has already formulated regulations on destroying the school palace and baning Confucius. Even if Li Wencheng can deduce astronomy like Zhuge Liang, he is just a corrupt Confucian.
"Don't talk nonsense. The situation in Jinghai County is very different from our Duliu Town. Prime Minister Lin has sufficient troops and occupies Jiancheng, which is easier to defend than us. As Li Wencheng said, if our department can break through smoothly, it will be able to affect the defense line of the clear demon. At that time, it will be much easier for Prime Minister Lin to escape. Li Kaifang said seriously.
He is not greedy for life and afraid of death. He just wants to let himself get rid of himself first, but seriously from the perspective of a conductor. In fact, Lin Fengxiang's department is located in the north, and there is no way to meet him in Duliu Town as soon as possible. From the perspective of the overall breakthrough plan, Lin Fengxiang's continued stay will only be more beneficial to the overall situation. If the best opportunity to break out is delayed in order to meet the two people, it will not only take more risks on Li Wencheng's 600 soldiers, but may even lead to a disadvantageous breakout due to the lack of necessary cover.
"So, shall we really arrange it according to that boy's words?" Luo Daniel asked for sure again.
Li Kaifang thought that she had never been a mother-in-law, but he thought about it for a while before answering.
"So far, that's all we can do. When it is broken, it is broken. However, what I'm most worried about now is not that the time is short, but that I have to meet Prime Minister Lin in advance anyway. You know, that that person is still in Jinghai County, and we should ensure that person's safety no matter what.
" Prime Minister, Zhang Minghan has already leaked his words. The candidate to lead the reinforcements this time was drawn up by Dong Wang himself. If it hadn't been for the improper use of people, the reinforcements would not have been defeated in Linqing. At this time, why do you still pay attention to that person? If there is any mistake, blame the Eastern King for taking the blame. Luo Daniel said righteously.
After saying that, several other trusted generals present also nodded and echoed, but some of them were still silent.
Li Kaifang suddenly turned around and stared at Luo Daniel fiercely. His originally melancholy face instantly became thunderous and angry.
Even if it was rough, Ronald Newton was shocked and realized that he had just said something wrong and quickly silenced.
"In a word, I have decided to send someone to the county tomorrow to spread the matter, so that Prime Minister Lin can prepare first. Our department immediately began to arrange a breakthrough deployment. Don't mention other gossip. Li Kaifang gave the order coldly. At this time, he was not angry, but it was even more terrible.
At the same time, at the end of a short street north of Duliu Town, several houses here have already been requisitioned into barracks. In the side room of a small house in front, Li Wencheng has just washed his face with hot water. In such an embarrassing environment, a basin of hot water is the only luxury. After wiping his face with his sleeves, he turned to the middle of the empty room, where there were only two small broken and loose benches left, and Zhang Minghan was sitting on one of the small benches with a solemn face.
"Sir, will Prime Minister Li believe us? Such a big thing, with just a few words, I'm afraid it's a little less.
"I believe that Prime Minister Li is an enlightened person and will definitely understand the key." Li Wencheng seemed as calm as ever, and showed a confidence to speak.
"I hope that as Mr. said, it's all up to you whether the brothers can retreat this time." Zhang Minghan said sincerely.
He admired Li Wencheng from the bottom of his heart. Linqing was defeated and the whole army was scattered. It was the time when the dragons were in a desperate situation. If Li Wencheng hadn't stood up and led the brothers to break through, how could his other hundreds of brothers have survived to this day?
At the beginning of the reinforcements's move to the north, as the leader and bodyguard of Zeng Lichang, he did not take a good look at Li Wencheng's account at the beginning. However, as the war became more and more fierce, Li Wencheng repeatedly spoke to Zeng Lichang. Almost every time he said something about the point, but Zeng Lichang refused to accept it. Over time, I gradually changed my impression of it.
Until the day of Linqing's fiasco, he witnessed Li Wencheng riding a horse knife and commanding the breakout while himself. Unexpectedly, a scholar who usually had no power to bind a chicken turned into a majestic general at that moment. Since then, he has sighed from the bottom of his heart that people are not good-looking.
"Tomorrow, you will go back to Guanjiatun first, and you will be a veteran." Li Wencheng suddenly said.
"Do you want to stay here, sir?" Zhang Minghan asked strangely.
"That's right. Since the operation deployment has been fully arranged, as long as you follow this plan, I believe there will be no big difference. It will be the same whether I am in command or not. The reason why I want to stay is that I am still worried that some of Prime Minister Li's subordinates will not trust and put the overall situation first, so as not to lose big things. Li Wencheng explained lightly.
He has long seen that even a wise leader like Li Kaifang has some suspicions, not to mention those generals from farmers. In case Li Kaifang's men are in a bad mood, they will be involved in the overall situation at a critical time.
"But sir..." Zhang Minghan seemed to have something more to say, but he felt nothing to say when he came to his mouth.
"I have made up my mind, and you don't need to say anything more. As long as it is for the sake of the overall situation, everything else can be put down for the time being. Li Wencheng said resolutely.
That night, Duliu Town began to prepare for the breakthrough.
Li Kaifang's order was not immediately conveyed to his subordinates, but selectively gave priority to the middle and senior generals, as well as several battalions of fresh troops that still maintain the best combat effectiveness. He knew that the breakout operation needed to be kept secret as much as possible. On the one hand, it was to prevent the enemy's insight in advance, and on the other hand, it was also to avoid internal military chaos.
After months of defensive combat, the number of wounded soldiers has increased day by day, and it has become a considerable burden today.
Although he never intended to give up these brothers fighting side by side, the whole breakthrough deployment is too hasty to guarantee that the wounded soldiers with limited mobility will think nonsense and cause unnecessary turmoil.
All night, the seven battalions of the Taiping Army stationed in Duliu Town were mobilizing intensively. On the surface, there seemed to be not too many waves, but the turbulent undercurrent was hidden behind the calm. The remaining grain and fod materials were first concentrated and packaged; the two battalions, who served as the main force, sent a large number of horses to investigate the breakthrough route in detail; the southeast has just experienced a fierce battle, and now they have also begun to adjust their defensive positions, repair gaps, and strengthen the original strongholds.
The army of nearly 7,000 people is busy in an orderly manner under the cover of the thick and humid night.
For the soldiers of the Taiping Army, it has been really difficult for the trapped beasts to fight in the past six months. Everyone knows that there is a shortage of military food day by day. It is better to fight for a fight than to wait for death. Therefore, even if the decision to break through this time seems very sudden, it has played a more or less exciting role.
Chapter 5
The next morning, Li Wencheng and Zhang Minghan first came to Li Kaifang's barracks, the farmhouse they met yesterday.
When I saw Li Kaifang, I saw that the other party's eyes were red and his eyes were swollen. It seemed that he had not closed his eyes all night, but he still seemed to be very energetic and was assigning the task of breaking through the palace with the other two Sima.
Wait a moment for Li Kaifang to finish her military affairs before meeting Li and Zhang.
In fact, from the movement in the town last night, Li Wencheng has seen that Li Kaifang has finally made up her mind, and it is not in vain that she took great risks and took great efforts to plan this plan to take the breakthrough of the Northern Expedition. He was not in a hurry to understand Li Kaifang's specific arrangements, but first told Zhang Minghan to return to Guanjiatun today, hoping that the Northern Expeditionary Army would also send two or three contacts to facilitate a better response when breaking through the encirclement the day after tomorrow.
"So, Brother Li, are you going to stay here and break through with us?" After listening to Li Wencheng's words, Li Kaifang asked strangely.
"Yes. If you don't listen to it, it's nothing more than talking on paper and doing your best. After all, the brothers in Guanjiatun can't leave the command of the Minghan brothers. With the Minghan brothers in charge, they will be foolproof. Li Wencheng said politely.
Li Kaifang didn't think much about it. First, he believed that Li Wencheng's arrangement must have a purpose. Second, the other party automatically asked for more integrity. Third, it could also ensure the military legal commitment about the fog prophecy. In addition, he also considered that Li Wencheng was a rare scholar in the Taiping Army and was full of real talent. It would not be a bad thing to attract him.
"Since it is the meaning of Brother Li, let's settle it this way. I immediately arranged two good people to sneak back to Guanjiatun with the Zhang brothers. However, before that, you need to confirm one thing with the Li and Zhang brothers. If you organize a breakout the day after tomorrow, when exactly will it be? As a military general who has been leading troops all year round, Li Kaifang will not let go of any available details.
"The fog rises, and the southwest fire is the letter. At that time, our brothers will sneak into Wangkou to the Qing demon camp in Shuangtang and set fire to the camp as much as possible. According to this, Wangkou and Shuangtang are only more than ten miles, and there are no mountains and deep forests. You can definitely see fire and smoke here. Li Wencheng said.
"I understand that before the fire signal, our department can only keep moving." Li Kaifang seemed to say something in secret.
Li Wencheng did not answer the other party's words. He expected earlier that all the cumbersome words were meaningless, and everything would disappear on the day of the breakout.
At noon, the Taiping army in Duliu Town began to distribute today's first meal. Li Kaifang is rigorous and clear, and the food arranged every day must be the same, and there will be no special case. Even he himself is a small steamed bun, plus a bowl of clear vegetable roots dressed as rice soup.
After lunch, Li Kaifang called Zhao An, who had been to Guanjiatun the day before yesterday, and arranged his own guard Wang Jingsheng. The two took a detour from Duliu Town to Guanjiatun with Zhang Minghan. Before leaving, Li Wencheng exchanged his Qing army costume with Wang Jingsheng and specially combed a braid to hide people's eyes and ears.
After sending Zhang Minghan away, Li Wencheng returned to the Chinese barracks with Li Kaifang. He noticed that Li Kaifang's face was a little solemn.
No matter what Li Kaifang is thinking, Li Wencheng can actually vaguely empathize with him. He had only been in contact with the Northern Expeditionary Army for three or five days. When Zhang Minghan first contacted him, he did not disclose much information. When he came to the meeting in person, he directly brought a breakthrough plan, thinking that all this was too sudden.
Even if the breakthrough plan is reliable or not, there are also many risks in sending people back and forth disguised to walk through Duliu Town and Guanjiatun. Once someone is unfortunately recognized, resulting in the failure of the breakthrough plan, where should they go next?
Although Li Wencheng can feel this way, he doesn't have too many worries in his heart. In the past, he has already figured out the Qing soldiers in the southwest, and even 600 people can lurk under the eyes of the Qing soldiers, which shows the laxness of the overall defense line. Of course, he also did a good job of prevention. No matter who was captured, there were new substitutes in Guanjiatun. Before the Qing demon tortured and tortured the information, the breakout operation should have been carried out, and then everything was still planned.
However, he would rather believe that nothing would happen to these people!
