Chapter 50 2
After meditating for a long time, the son of the Dharma world released the light of reli, opened his mouth of mercy, and said to Qiao Xiaoxuan:
"Are there any immortals? Ordinary people have always said that if you believe, there is; if you don't believe, there is no. The knowledge of ordinary people in the countryside is very rare. I have seen a lot of fox fairies and ghosts, but few ordinary immortals have said they have seen them. It is no wonder that the immortals have always been high above, far away from the heavy skies, and occasionally go down to the world in a hurry. They rarely stop to watch and browse, waiting for you to discover. Only those fox fairies and ghosts, which are produced by the people, seem to be special lovers and refuse to leave, so most of the characters that mortals have seen since ancient times are these difficult to ascend to the elegant hall.
Shikonglian has been ignorant since she was a child. She never dared to assert whether there are immortals or not. Since she was a child, the master had the final say. The master said there was, but the master said there was no. In those years, the master not only believed in immortals, but also believed in the existence of living immortals. He believed that living immortals were more important than immortals, because living immortals hid in the world and took it as his responsibility to save all sentient beings in the world. After arriving at Wudang Mountain, the people who are most convinced of the belief in immortals will be Sakyamuni. Seeing is believing, because she and her masters have seen it with their own eyes.
"In that time, there were not a large number of tourists who are bored and believe in anything on Bliss Mountain today. Those who walk into the empty sky palace should worship devoutly, pray devoutly, and dare not be a little rude to bully and disrespect the immortals. Otherwise, you will be suspected of deliberately coming to cause trouble. Those who visited the temple in those years The immortals will never embarrass you too much. At most, they will invite you to go out. Instead, those countless guests present can't let you go. You insulted their faith. They want you to make amends to the immortals before they can leave.
"This is a day in late spring, and there is still an endless stream of incense visitors going up the mountain. At this time, it was Sakyamuni Hirohiro and his two immortal brothers on duty. Near noon, the pilgrims who went up to worship on the mountain were a little tired. Sitting around the Zixiao Palace, they saw some new pilgrims entering the hall, burning incense, kneeling, kowtowing and bowing. There was only one pilgrim, old clothes, coarse cloth shoes and socks, medium-aged, like an inconspicuous farmer, like an idol of an old fairy like an acquaintance. Meeting, nodding and laughing, Sakyamuni Hirohiro hurriedly looked at the statue. Strangely, the bronze statue also seemed to be smiling.
"The two Taoist brothers on duty in the hall did not notice this detail. They were particularly angry when they saw the first incense guest who entered the hall without burning incense or kneeling these days. They didn't wait for them to ask questions. The other incense guests present quit first and surrounded them one after another. They were angrily. 'Cough! You are so unreasonable. Are you here to watch the fun and blow the autumn wind?
'What do you do when you don't worship God?'
The farmer said unhurriedly, 'I also want to worship him, but I'm afraid that he won't accept my worship and turn around.'
"'Nonsense, there is no fairy who can't stand your worship. Who are you? Your tone is too big.'
"'It's not difficult for me to worship him. After worshiping him, I'm afraid that your statue is not positioned properly, and I have to correct it again to cause you trouble."
"What do you mean?'
"'Some gods, after I worshipped, the immortals refused to accept my worship and turned their bodies away, and the statue was crooked and had to be straightened again."
"Is there such a strange thing?" Not only the immortals on duty did not believe it, but also the incense guests present did not believe it. This noise shocked the masters who were about to make noon. There were many immortals from behind, no less than a hundred, and there were no less than two or three hundred incense guests and scholars present. Among these immortals, incense guests and scholars, there are only a few people who are well-informed, knowledgeable and profound in Taoism, and have heard of the theory of 'inverted bodhi immortals'.
