Ning Chen and Emily strolled through the streets and alleys of Dalong County and did not see half a doll. Not to mention dolls, there was not even a dirt, and there was nothing on the mossy gravel road.
"Let's go to the houses separately and look for them." Ning Chen and Emily said to each other coincidentally, and then nodded together. Recently, they have become more and more tacitly understanding.
Dalong County is a moderate town. The two main streets, east, west, north and south, divide the town into four districts. Emily and Ningchen start a door-to-door search from the southern end.
The house here is also medieval-style, with fireplaces, window sills and floors. When entering this door, Ningchen felt a strong atmosphere of life. Although the house has been abandoned for a long time, it is surprising that it is well preserved. Except for a little more dust, it is basically intact. The photos on the wall can still be faintly seen. The owner's voice and smile came, and Ning Chen opened his eyes wide and searched in the dark. Finally, at the root of the wall next to the fireplace, a white thing attracted Ning Chen's attention.
Quickly stepped forward to check. Sure enough, as Pamela said, the white dilapidated doll was covered with dust. Ning Chen shook, and the doll's belly jingled. There seemed to be some metal objects in it, which should be the key.
Ning Chen picked up the doll without hesitation and came to the street. Emily disappeared. She must be looking for it painstakingly in a house somewhere. He tried to shout, and Emily's response floated from a corner from afar, looming.
"Emily!" Ning Chen raised the volume and shouted again.
"Well, it's here." Emily's voice also became louder, and she came out of the house across the street, "Have you found it?"
Ning Chen nodded: "Let's go to Pamela."
click.
Ning Chen and Emily walked gently on the street. They were so excited that they ignored the slight click. Soon they returned to the alley where they met Pamilla. The cute and poor little Pamilla was waiting there, and she said to herself to the empty street.
"Pamila!" Ning Chen shouted, "Look what this is?"
"Ah!" As soon as Pamila saw the doll in Ning Chen's hand, she was so happy that she jumped to Ningchen's side and jumped to reach the doll. "Give it to me..." Ning Chen smiled and looked at the doll, but the smile quickly condensed, because Pamilla's little hand passed through the doll, she could no longer pick it up. My beloved toy.
"Ah?" Pamela was stunned, "Why is that?"
Emily turned away and couldn't bear to see this scene.
Ning Chen was a little overwhelmed and didn't know how to tell a child that she was dead. He just lifted the doll a little higher so that Pamilla could not reach it again.
"Pamila, can I discuss something with you?"
"What's the matter?" Pamela didn't focus on not being able to get the doll for too long. After all, she is just a four- or five-year-old girl.
"The key is in the doll's stomach, but this key is very important to everyone now. Can I take it out of the doll's body?" Ning Chen discussed with her.
Pamela held her cheek with her little hand and thought seriously: "Well, let me think about it."
The cute little girl didn't think about it for too long, so she looked up at Ning Chen and said, "Since it's important to everyone, I agree that you take it out, but you must remember to sew the doll's belly, otherwise it will be cold and painful..." Speaking of this, Pamilla's words suddenly stopped, and her face became pale, and her eyes Full of pain and panic, I tried my best not to cry.
It's cold and painful. It's too unusual for a little girl to say this from her mouth, unless she has experienced it herself. Ning Chen looked at the child sadly, and the other hand couldn't help holding Bonita in his arms. Two of them had died. This one should be protected in any case. Thinking of the little cotton that died tragically and looking at the little ghost in confusion and panic in front of him, Ning Chen secretly made up his mind.
Pamila looked up at Ning Chen and Bonita, and suddenly opened her little hand and pouted: "I want to hug!" Her voice was clear but stubborn, as if she had to be hugged before she was willing to be willing. "My aunt is gone, grandpa and sister are gone, and Pamela hasn't been hugged for a long time."
Emily suddenly turned around and hurriedly walked in the other direction. She walked a long way to stand, shrugging her shoulders.
Ning Chen slowly squatted down, and there was a strong contrast between the tall figure of the tauren and the weak Pamela. He wrapped his hand holding the doll around Pamela, and stopped with his fingers right on her shoulder, patted the child's little shoulder, and gently coaxed her in his mouth: "Waiting for uncle to do it. After that, can I take you home to find your aunt?"
Pamila buried her head in his arms. She wanted to do so, but she found that her head penetrated the bullhead's chest and saw what she shouldn't have seen behind him, the empty streets, and the beautiful elf standing motionless with his back to them in the distance.
Pamela finally shouted, "Why is that!"
Ning Chen didn't say anything. He stood up, put his hand into the doll's stomach, and took out the key. Sure enough, it was half of it. Ning Chen sorted out the doll again and smiled at Pamela and said, "Wait, I'll give you back the doll later." After saying that, he hurriedly turned around and entered the alley. He turned around and said mysteriously to Pamela, who was looking at his side, "Don't peek."
After a while, a doll suddenly appeared in Pamilla's hand. She happily held the doll and jumped and shouted, "My doll, my doll!"
The key has arrived, but only half of it. Ning Chen is distressed when he holds this half of the key. Where is the other half? He returned to Pamela: "Tell your uncle, where did Grandpa put the key at that time?" Pamela pointed to the house behind her. When Ning Chen was about to go in and have a look, the child said, "Yesterday, a bone came to take it away."
"Bone?"
"Well, a man with bones all over his body."
Oh, it turns out that Pamela is talking about the undead, the skeleton, the skeleton in the land of plague, which should not be from Sylvanas.
While thinking about it, they suddenly heard a slight click. In fact, the sound had been ringing before, but they fell into an insupreparable sadness and ignored the already very subtle voice.
The sound came from far to near. Just behind the house, Ning Chen jumped to the roof and saw nothing, but in the shadow of the wall of the house, there seemed to be something hidden.
"Who?" Ning Chen shouted loudly and interrupted Emily's sadness. She quietly wiped away her tears and came down to Ning Chen's side.
"What's wrong?" Emily asked.
"Someone is sneaking here."
Ning Chen raised his bow and arrow and shot it into the shadow. The tinkling sound showed that the arrow had shot on some hard object and fell to the ground. A skeleton shook its chin and came out of the shadow. There was also an arrow in his eyes and half a key tied with a cloth was hanging around his neck.
"Who are you?" Ning Chen shouted.
