Chapter 35 Ghost
I recall what I have just seen and heard that the chains are only those wrapped around the wrists of the statues.
I have seen a lot of rice dumplings, but the stone carvings are so dynamic that I really can't imagine them.
After two seconds, I immediately turned on the lighter and looked back. I saw the dense fog rolling, as if something was really moving in the fog.
"Ding..." The crisp chain sounded again, and I felt a little closer to me this time! I almost reflexively flashed aside and hid behind a sculpture. There was a dark as thick as ink in front of me, and I could only prick my ears to listen.
Soon, a frustling footsteps sounded.
This step is very difficult, and the interval between each step is very long, and a picture of a dying person moving his footsteps with difficulty immediately appeared in my mind.
I am extremely curious about who will appear here. If it is someone I know, obviously he needs me to help him.
But soon, I gave up the idea of helping this person.
Because after listening carefully, I found that every time this person moved his footsteps, there was a slight chain sound.
I was shocked and said to myself, is this person wearing shackles or tied by chains? If so, this person's identity should be a prisoner, and how can there be a prisoner in this ancient ruins that have not seen the sun for thousands of years?
I can't help but think of the people who were used for blood sacrifice in Wei Wang's silk book. Those who were disobedient were taken to the execution ground with shackles like prisoners.
Thinking of this, my heart suddenly rose to my throat. My heart said that it's absolutely damned this time. The people who died unjustly in the country will never be scattered!
I was thinking about it, and suddenly another wiping footsteps sounded, which came faster than the previous one.
Before I could react, more footsteps sounded again.
The noisy footsteps, with the sound of jingling chains, filled the whole dark space, which can only be made by at least thousands of people.
I feel like I'm suffocating. I haven't seen a ghost for more than 20 years. I've seen so much for the first time. I'm really lucky.
There are more and more footsteps in all directions, mixed with some crying and muttering. Although I can't understand what these people are talking about, I feel their despair and helplessness.
I heard countless people walking past me and tried to light the lighter in my hand several times, but finally I couldn't help it.
After about ten minutes, I heard those footsteps gradually fade away before I breathed a sigh of relief and wiped the cold sweat on my head.
I remember a story I heard from a Yunnan tour guide in my early years, saying that there is a place in Yunnan that is often haunted, and I guess many people know it.
This place is located in Luliang, Yunnan, and its specific name is Zhanmapo of Jingma Stone.
Whenever the thunder and rainy weather changes, you can hear the hissing sound of war horses and the intertwins of Jin Ge. At first, people were very scared and thought it was a monster.
After the study of scientists, it was found that this is because the local soil contains silicon for making tapes and a large amount of magnetite, which can record what happened in ancient times and replay it in a specific environment.
I have seen a lot of similar information before, and I just thought of this situation, but when I experienced it myself, I still broke out in a cold sweat.
I believed that this was just a natural phenomenon, so I was much more confident and settled down and planned to catch up with it.
So after I was sure that those things had gone far away, I lit a lighter and slowly followed them.
As the saying goes, people are unlucky and stuff their teeth when they drink water. As soon as I lit the lighter and took two steps forward, I saw a man standing not far in front of me, with his back to me and walking slowly.
I was stunned for a moment and didn't react. The man seemed to feel the light behind him and slowly turned around.
This time, I saw a grooved face, and a pair of godless eyes looked at me, like a dead man, with a very stiff expression.
But I didn't feel scared at all, but was extremely shocked. Tears couldn't stop flowing down and shouted, "Grandpa! What's wrong with you!" With that, I rushed up and hugged the skinny old man.
When Grandpa saw me, his eyes seemed to recover a trace of light. He took a few breaths, slowly put a pair of thin hands on my face and said intermittently, "Xiaochuan... Come on, go and save everyone, ghost eyes, ghost eyes..."
He said a few words and began to breathe loudly again. I was afraid that he couldn't breathe a few breaths, so I took a good breath for him and said, "Grandpa, take a break and speak slowly."
I took off the kettle around my waist and gave him a few sips. Grandpa slowed down for a moment and said, "There's no time. Come on, go to the front."
I saw that the matter was urgent. Although I was confused, I could only carry my grandfather on my back and walk forward quickly.
Grandpa was not in a good state. He kept coughing on my shoulder, then groped for a moment and handed me a flashlight.
I turned on the flashlight, which was much stronger than the light of the lighter. I could see a two-meter-wide bluestone road under my feet, with huge black stone sculptures on both sides. Each stone sculpture held a different weapon in his hand and stretched forward with the other hand flat.
The light of the flashlight leaves a bright and dark trance on these huge stone carvings, and the fierce faces look very strange.
I kept observing the surrounding environment and soon found a lot of blood on the ground. These blood stains have not been dried through. After being stepped on by people's shoes, blood footprints have been formed, and countless dense numbers have been formed.
I stepped on it with my foot and found that the blood had not dried yet. Obviously, it was not an illusion!
My breathing became rapid, because it turned out to be a group of living people who just walked here. How did so many people get here? This is really incredible.
But I can't help thinking about the situation at this moment. I almost trotted forward.
I don't know how long it took, but I saw a huge dark shadow in front of me.
I never thought that there would be such a huge sculpture in this ancient ruins, and I was secretly surprised.
It is a Buddha statue, which is more than 40 meters high, occupying almost the whole space in front of you. The posture of this Buddha statue is very strange. The whole body is bowed 90 degrees. It holds a King Kong Zen stick in one hand and extends to the ground in the other. The five fingers are close together. The muscles on the whole arm are prominent, and the clothes are dancing. It looks powerful.
This posture reminds me of the last blow of the Buddha's slap in a movie of Xing Ye.
I took a photo with a flashlight and found that the Buddha statue was carved on the stone wall below the waist, while the upper body was carved on the top of the cave, so there was such a posture.
The face of the Buddha statue is also different from other Buddha statues. Although it also has drooping ears and big eyes, its facial expression is very ferocious, with round eyes and grinning.
Its feet stepped on a beast, which looked like a giant wolf, stretched its limbs and curled its hind legs, as if it was about to jump out at any time. Its mouth full of fangs and fierce eyes were frightening.
Although I don't have much research on Buddhism, I also know that there are only two immortals in heaven who bring dogs, one is Erlang Zhenjun, and the other is the more awesome Dizang King Bodhisattva.
The dog led by the Bodhisattva of the Earth Treasure King was called Di Ting. When he was the real and false Monkey King, even the Lord of Hell could not find out who was true or who was false, but Di Ting could immediately hear it. Although he only said that the secret could not be revealed, his magic power was already visible.
As the master of listening, the Bodhisattva in front of him is the first-class magic power among the three worlds. It is said that he only specializes in treating all kinds of evil spirits and evil spirits under the Buddha, and has never been unconvinced.
When I was traveling in Jiuhua Mountain, I saw the sculpture of the Dizang King, which is the kindest Buddha statue I have ever seen, but I have never seen such an angry Dizang King.
Standing under the magnificent Dizang King Bodhisattva, I felt extremely shocked. I was stunned for a long time before swallowing my saliva and continued to move forward.
Through the thick fog in front of me, a fishy smell of blood spread out, and I was about to spit it.
