Because of its extraordinary origin, the green wing enters the highest realm of meditation in the meditation fantasy of the bodhi tree spirit. But in the real world, she is still an ordinary person, neither as strong nor as Zhang Fan who has practiced meditation, so she finally entered the state. Fortunately, her determination was also very strong. Under the guidance of the Zen master, she also entered 'no carelessness'.
Once Green Wing and Xuanyuan Star enter the state, the powerful determination will immediately show its power! This 'sitting meditation' is the time of three incense sticks! Seeing that it was almost done, the Zen master left the 'incense plate' and motioned the three of them to make a final order. Because at the beginning of meditation, you can't necessarily afford it. In this way, you will be entangled by your own demons and fall into desire.
When the three people heard the sound of the incense board, they all consciously made up their own determination, which was not bad at all. The Zen master was surprised. This shows that the ability of three people to control themselves is very powerful, far beyond ordinary people! The linden tree indicates that Zen masters can let them 'sit incense' for a period of time, and don't ask them according to the standards of ordinary people.
The Zen master asked the three people how they felt when sitting in meditation, and knew that there was no problem for the three people to live careless in the first step of meditation, so he taught them some precautions for entering the second step of 'Careful Stay', and then rested for a period of time. Then began the second round of 'sitting incense'. The three immediately sat down and closed their eyes to count their breaths...
The so-called realm of meditation is divided into 'four meditations and eight meditations' in Buddhism! Now the three have just begun to learn meditation, and it is still far from the 'four meditations and eight meditations'. Because the lowest level of the so-called 'four meditations and eight meditations' is the first meditation sky of the color world. Then go to the four meditation days of the color world, plus the 'four empty sky' of the colorless world, a total of eight realms, to synthesize the 'four meditations and eight meditations'.
In fact, the so-called three worlds and six paths refer to the world of desire, the color world and the colorless world. The desire world includes the hell road, the hungry ghost road, the animal road, the human way, and the six days of the desire world. The six heavens of the desire world include: the four heavenly kings, the pliable sky, the Xuyan skyscraper, the Dousutiantian, the happy changing sky, and the other free heaven. All sentient beings have various desires such as food, color, sleep and so on.
The color world is divided into four layers according to the power of all sentient beings to practice meditation.
The three Zen heavens are divided into three types: less pure sky, infinitely pure sky, and all over the pure sky; four meditation nine days: cloudless sky, blessed sky, wide fruit sky, thoughtless sky, no annoying sky, no hot sky, good seeing the sky, good appearance of the sky, and color of the sky. The first three days of the four meditation days are mortal heaven, the fourth day is the outer heaven, and the last five days are the holy heaven, that is, the five days are commonly referred to as the heavens.
All sentient beings in the color world have broken their desire and food desires, but they still seek exquisite colors, such as magnificent scenery and wonderful body shapes. Therefore, it is called the color world.
The colorless world is also divided into four differences due to the depth of practice, that is, the four empty sky of the colorless world: the boundless sky, the boundless sky, the sky without the sky, and the sky. Here, I have to think about the end of the sky. All sentient beings in this world have broken all material hopes and transcended the shackles of matter. Only the mind resides in the profound meditation.
Now Zhang Fan and his three people are still learning how to enter the 'desire definition', which is divided into four realms: 'wor carelessness', 'p Careful dwelling', and 'desire to define' and 'future meditation'. It is the basis for ordinary people to practice meditation.
The so-called ' carelessness' is the person who begins to sit still. The heart is very scattered, the more you sit, the more miscellaneous thoughts you can't control. At the same time, the waist is sore and bone pain, and the body is not upright, crooked, because our bodies are usually used to bending; some people's bodies will not be skewed, and their breathing is not smooth; we must be used to calm down the mind by means of breathing. Come on. After a while, the body will slowly adjust, the breathing will gradually become smooth, and the mind will become thinner and thinner. This kind of situation is called carelessness. When you enter carelessness, the distractions are reduced. However, less distracting thoughts does not mean getting settled, just stop thinking nonsense, but thoughts will keep running around.
After entering the 'careful residence', the mind at this time is already very fine. The body does not need to be adjusted carefully and automatically balanced. It is already used to it, and it is not tired to sit for a long time. This is the so-called body holding method. People with meditation experience, if their body is very tired after sitting for an hour, that is, they have not entered carelessness. When they enter careful meditation, their body will automatically adjust, and they will not be tired after sitting for a long time. If you continue to meditate and go deep into the definition, you can enter the real definition of desire.
After entering the definition, there is no need to control it, and delusion will not arise. And the mind is automatically stable, and there is no need to adjust it carefully. At this time, the mind is motionless. After entering this kind of meditation, you can meditate all day long. The above three meditations cannot be called real meditation, but can only be called ordinary meditation.
After defining the desire, continue to practice. At some point, you suddenly feel the feeling of losing your body, not seeing the body of the desire world, and feeling that the whole body and mind are missing. This feeling occurs while sitting in meditation, not when you open your eyes. After this feeling, it is to enter the 'future Zen'.
The so-called 'future meditation' is to enter the real meditation, so it is also known as the desire world. The so-called true meditation is the first meditation, the second meditation, the third meditation, and the fourth meditation.
For Zhang Fan, these lessons are just a review. Because even if you can enter the real realm of meditation, you will not reach it, but not retreat. Therefore, every time you enter, you still need to improve one realm and one realm, but the speed of improvement is only slow. If you don't retreat to a certain meditation realm, you don't have to be so troublesome.
One day, when such a continuous improvement realm enters, suddenly the realm that can be directly entered can be entered at any time, and there is no need to leave. Even when you sit and lie down and do anything, when you enter a fixed state in this realm, that is, you will not retreat to the realm! It's like reading a text very well. One day, I suddenly memorized it, and I will never forget it. I can recite it backwards anytime and anywhere, that is, it will not retreat to the realm!
Of course, the realm of meditation and practice is much more profound than remorization. Among them, even if it does not retreat, it is divided into many levels, such as never retreating, never retreating, never retreating, not retreating, certificates, and never retreating. Therefore, it is conceivable how difficult it is for the bodhi tree essence to reach the top 'great free heaven' without retreat after thousands of years of meditation! And this is not an easy state, and you are also confused by the demons and commit karma! It can be seen that it is difficult to practice.
For the second meditation, Zhang Fan directly improved his realm according to the guidance of the Zen master and began to steadily enter the first Zen day. However, after the three incense sticks, he did not succeed. He always wandered in the future Zen realm and failed to enter the first Zen sky. Because after feeling the disappearance of his body, he always does not feel the joy of entering the first Zen sky and leaving the world of desire.
Zhang Fan is not in a hurry, because the most important thing is to calm down. Even if it is always in the definition, there can be no emotional fluctuation. After a day of practice, Green Wing and Xuanyuan Star were able to enter the 'desired to define'. It's just one step away from entering the realm of 'future Zen'.
In this way, from morning to ten o'clock in the evening, in addition to eating and going to the toilet, I have been repeatedly meditating. At 10 p.m., the temple monks set the sleeping time. At this time, except for the monks who practice 'not falling into meditation', they all went to bed. The so-called inverted Zen is a practice method for Buddhist practitioners to resist sleepiness. Because in Buddhism, sleep is also a desire that needs to be removed.
