Sure enough, he offered ten taels of silver. The villagers pretended to be regretful and left.

The prince talked with the eighth brother, and the birds responded like a stream and ate meat. After dinner, the eighth brother said, "I want to take a bath." The prince ordered a golden basin to save water, open the bird cage, and let the eighth brother take a bath. After the bath, the birds flew to the eaves, combed the feathers, and chattered with the prince. A few times later, the feathers were dry, and the eighth brother rose up, with a Shanxi accent, and said, "I'm going." Flying with wings, the birds disappeared. Seeing this, the guards in the palace looked at each other, went out to look for the villagers, and disappeared.

Later, some people traveled to and from Shaanxi, and they saw villagers walking around Xi'an Street with birds.
