City of Dimlight

Chapter 13 Giant Garlock

The return journey was smooth, and the only thing that made Leo feel a little dissatisfied was a few students, which was really annoying. Bosk was very clever. There was no noise along the way, but it was the one that gave Leo the most headache. As long as he had a chance, he wanted to know about the martial arts competition between Leo and Zakhnahim, and what he wanted to know more about was how Leo fought against the big round of sun and moon.

Because several other students are not as close as Leo, they have kept enough distance from Leo. After all, they can draw with the big round of Sun and Moon. I don't know how high Leo is. Every time they heard Bosco call Leo boss, his eyes burst into flames. God knows how enviable it is to have such a boss.

The old dwarf continues to occupy the only rock lizard, purring in a quiet tunnel, which is particularly harsh.

Back in Brighton, Leo led several students to his hotel.

To be honest, several students are still very rich in their pockets. After arriving in the city, they booked a room at the hotel where Leo lived and booked a banquet in the Blue Mermaid, the largest restaurant in Brighton City, ready to thank Leo for his help.

After taking a shower and looking out of the window, a tall magic fire pillar in the center of the city hovered around the middle grid and counted the grids. Leo was sure that it was about three o'clock now. Although Bosk told himself that the time was seven o'clock, Leo didn't mind going out first. Take a look at the block.

With his habitual skin on his back, Leo slowly went out of the door.

Leo deliberately walked around the Blue Mermaid, on the one hand, in order to improve the map of Blake City in his memory, and on the other hand, he wanted to give the person behind him a chance to expose his purpose.

Leo knew that when he returned to the hotel, several people on the table at the door had been secretly listening to the conversation between himself and Bossk, and then when he left the door of the hotel, several people followed him.

When Leo turned into an alley full of rubble and gravel, he found that the surrounding light was very dim and there was almost no smoke. This is a great place to do things. Leo thought that if he didn't do it here and went out of the alley and turned into the market street, it would be lively and there would be no chance to do it. Just as Leo was sighing, several people gathered around.

Finally, I couldn't help it. Hey hey, Leo laughed a little hairy.

The Solomon family, in Rebecca's boudoir.

Rebecca and Nicole sat by the bedside, bowed their heads, and were too much to say anything. It was Roy, the eldest brother who was teaching them a lesson.

Although Roy tried his best to put pressure on his voice, he still had an indescribable anger: "Sister, do you really think it's useful for the family? Do you know how much trouble it will cause us to offend a senior soldier?

Rebecca didn't say anything, but quietly pulled the corners of Nicole's clothes with her hand.

Nicole argued, "Cousin Roy, he was lucky enough to save Uncle Gavin. What kind of senior soldier is there? I think he only has five or six levels at most..."

"Five and Sixth Order?" Roy waved his hand and interrupted Nicole's defense extremely rudely: "Yes, Gavin is right. He is indeed only 5th level, but do you know that he is much more powerful than many 7th level soldiers here? I thank you. Don't judge him by your 5th and 6th level aristocratic swordsmen. !"

Nicole still insisted: "The teacher has taught us that what the warrior needs to observe is his eyes and pace. His eyes are rolling around. It's valuable to look there, and his pace is also crooked. It is a typical thief or assassin. This kind of person must be lucky or Sneak attack...

"Let your teacher's boring theories go to hell. What I can tell you is that he is definitely a warrior and powerful, or he may not look as good as the noble swordsman you have seen, but he is definitely a first-class master in actual combat." Roy felt a little overgrily.

"It will take a while to know whether he is a senior soldier or not." Nicole didn't say anything, but Rebecca whispered.

Roy did not let go of his sister's similar voice of complaining. He immediately pointed out: "As for the thie you can buy 50 gold coins, it's not an appetizer for him."

Rebecca replied unconvincedly, "What if he is really beaten?" Although he is still very quiet, he seems very stubborn.

Roy replied disdainfully to his sister's question, "Then I bet with you that if he hasn't been beaten, then when you return to Villendus next month, you must do your best to help me catch Nina; if he is beaten, I'm willing to lose a year's snack to you and pay the bill at any time!"

"Good!" It's a deal!" Two voices answered together.

Roy thought about this inexplicable bet and was still a little worried.

You'd better ask Uncle Gavin. He is more clear about Leo's strength. Thinking of this, Roy asked, "Who on earth did you find to beat Leo?"

"It's just a few orc mercenaries. Although they only have the strength of level 4 and level 5, they are said to be cold-blooded killers!" Rebecca couldn't help showing off.

"Are you still a cold-blooded killer like this?" Leo kicked the orc in front of him.

The kicked orc ate pain, but did not dare to speak. He knelt on the ground with a flattering smile, accidentally touched the wound, and grinned in pain.

Leo shook his money bag and heard the 50 gold coins in it jingling, and he suddenly felt better. Taking out a gold coin and throwing it to one of the mercenaries, Leo said, "This gold coin is to buy medicine for you. Now you guys can roll back. Remember to thank your employer for me!"

The mercenaries stood up from the ground, picked up the gold coins, and helped each other away. Before leaving, they also looked at Leo carefully, ready to keep in mind the human appearance that beat them bare-handed.

Looking at a few people going further and further, Leo suddenly shouted again: "Remember, you must go and say thank you, otherwise I must come back to find you!"

Several orcs quickly turned around and nodded and agreed repeatedly.

Leo put the gold coins into the space ring and walked happily to the market street while whistling.

The angle of each city has its own distinctive characteristics. The arch walls and stairs of Bly City are smooth and curved, as if all buildings are a community. Buringden Stone City is completely the opposite, full of stalagmite-shaped sharp corners, and narrow alleys and high platforms everywhere.

The market area is still bustling. In one corner of the market, Leo's attention is attracted by a huge iron cage.

In the iron cage, there was a human slave, tall and strong. In this two-meter-high iron cage, his back was squeezed and deeply distorted. His whole body** was covered with thick gray-brown hair, and a piece of tattered animal skin was randomly tied around his waist. His whole body is extremely dirty, full of unhealed scars, and his hands and feet are directly tied to the four corners of the iron cage. Even so, from the muscles on his body that rise like mountain bags, you can have an illusion as hard as steel, like an ancient beast. As long as you wake up a little, everything will be like paper. The paste generally turned into fragments in front of him.

The man in the cage felt Leo's eyes and suddenly turned his head.

It was a pair of crimson eyes, like two wildly burning flames, staring at Leo through the cracks. At that moment, Leo was unexpectedly refreshed, his pupils tightened, and his breathing seemed to stop. An inexplicable feeling emerged in Leo's heart, and everything in front of him shreded Leo's heart like a knife.

What kind of experience makes him so sad and angry and hates the world?

In a trance, Leo remembered his master. He had great power but bravely faced the pain he brought to death. Without hesitation, Leo approached the cage.

The silent communication between Leo and the giant man, the moment he crossed his eyes was already clear.

He understands my pain, just because he has also had it; he needs me because I also need him.

Leo smiled kindly, turned around and approached the auction table.

Throw 1 gold coin to the mercenary at the door, someone called out the slave owner, and Leo directly bought the giant man at a high price of 1,000 gold coins.

Ignoring the key from the slave owner, Leo went to the iron cage, raised his ink sword, and directly split the iron cage.

"You are free!"

"What I want is not freedom, but justice, blood-and-blood justice!"

"Then give me your life and I will give you justice!"

The giant stared at Leo fiercely, and the latter looked at him fearlessly in his eyes.

"You already have it! Garlock's life will belong to you from now on!"

The giant Garlock turned his eyes to the West, and his beast-like keen intuition helped him make his own choice.
