My Ghost Story

Chapter 5 Mid-Autumn Festival

Today is the Mid-Autumn Festival. I brought moon cakes to see my grandmother, who lives alone. Speaking of which, grandma is really a strong woman. Grandpa died early, and grandma pulled five children to grow up alone.

As soon as I entered my grandmother's house, I saw her chanting the Buddhist beads on the wall. She has believed in Buddhism since her youngest daughter got married.

"Grandma, let's go to my house for a holiday tonight." I sat behind my grandmother and asked softly.

"No, I'm used to it alone." Grandma stopped to answer my question and began to recite the scriptures again. I sat behind her and listened to her reading.

My mother and aunt came soon. He said that he had a holiday with his grandmother today. I didn't say anything. I took care of them when they were cooking. Soon after grandma finished reading the scriptures, she also came to fight together.

I'm clumsy, always splashing water everywhere when washing vegetables.

Grandma couldn't stand it anymore. She took it from my hand and washed it herself. While washing his mouth, he muttered, "I was very smart when I was a child. How did I become stupid when I grew up?"

I have never heard of this before and asked, "Mother-in-law, I was smart when I was a child?"

"No, you were the smartest child here at that time." Speaking of this grandma, I'm quite proud.

"Then why did I become stupid?" As soon as curiosity comes up, you have to ask to the end.

"Why do you ask so many questions?" My mother interrupted me. I can't go back to my room to watch TV by myself.

There are only 4 people who have had dinner together. But it can also be regarded as a holiday with my grandmother. I wanted to stay and spend the night with my mother-in-law, but my grandmother wouldn't allow me to say that I would worship Buddha at night. If there were many people, my heart was unclean and there was nothing I could do. Before going out, I told my grandmother to call me if she had something to do. Suddenly, I saw a middle-aged man in his 40s behind my mother-in-law, with a mole on the corners of his mouth, and waved to me with my grandmother.

On the way home, I asked my mother if there was a mole on the corner of my grandfather's mouth. My mother said yes. My grandfather used to like himself the most. If my grandfather was still alive, he would definitely like me the most.

I was secretly happy for myself and my grandmother, because someone has been with her. Do you know that my grandmother said?
