Chapter 3 Deep Mountains
The deeper you go into the mountains, the thicker the vegetation will be. Because compared with the trees below, lumberjacks are often managed, and there are generally few people in the deep mountains to disturb them.
The light has become dark here, and the environment has begun to get wet. The ground is full of naturally falling dead trees and weeds, and animal bones.
The harsh sound of the crow standing on the top of the tree whimpering sometimes sounded...
We are already sweaty and out of breath. Fatty Ma complained, "I haven't climbed such a high mountain since I came back from the countryside!"
I laughed and said, "Fat, I think you have had too many good days and forgotten the re-education of poor middle peasants."
Fat Ma was so tired that he scolded me and said, "Sun, don't say sarcastic things."
To be honest, after climbing the mountain for so long, I have no bottom in my heart. Looking forward, I couldn't see any clue at all. The visual distance around me was also limited, and I couldn't grasp the direction I was going, which undoubtedly caused a burden in my heart.
Just as I was about to speak, the big tree made a silent gesture to me.
I asked in a low voice, "What's wrong?"
The big tree's face became more rigorous, but he didn't answer me. He then made another move and asked us to lower ourselves.
I was a little more nervous by him.
He ran towards the forest with his steps, and it took him about five minutes to come back.
It's all right, he said in a tense tone.
The horse plate asked the tree, "What did you find just now?"
"It's a wild brown bear, which can eat people!" The tree replied.
Fat Ma continued, "What are we afraid of when we have guns?"
"This shotgun can't even penetrate its fur," the tree snorted coldly. Fat Ma was unconsciously weakened by his voice.
"Let's go!" The big tree commands the way.
We collected our hearts, then hurried on our way and walked for a while. The clay figurine came close to my ear and said something. I have the same feeling that we have been taking a long detour.
I asked my doubts.
The tree said impatiently, "In order to avoid unnecessary trouble, you just need to follow me!" Don't ask short questions."
I couldn't speak by him, so I had to be silent.
Night is about to fall at this time. At night, we clean up a place and burn a bonfire. Bake the prepared dry food and have a simple meal.
At night, the temperature here is lower. We gathered around the bonfire and talked, while the big tree set up a tent and was ready to go to bed.
Fat Ma said, "I don't know if I can reach the destination tomorrow."
The clay figurine held a branch in his hand and teased the flames and whispered, "We are not walking in depth, but walking horizontally!"
"What do you mean," Ma Fatty asked.
I knew the meaning of what the clay figurine said, so I said to Fatty Ma, "May not arrive tomorrow."
Fat Ma lit a flue, took a sip, threw the cigarette into the bonfire, and the cigarette was swallowed in an instant.
At this time, the big tree reminded us, "Don't let the bonfire go out, or something will happen." After saying that, he got into the tent!
What a weirdo. I don't know whether it's a good thing or a bad thing to have such a tour guide. The sky is completely invisible, and all animals and plants are converging at night. Quietness is a pronoun of night.
The three of us are still talking.
Maybe I can't let go of the safety of the hills, so I'm a little anxious.
I don't know when Fatty Ma took out another cigarette. When he lowered his head and lowered his head, I saw a pair of glowing eyes in the forest behind Fatty Ma.
I stood up, but my shining eyes flashed away, and I reminded them.
At the same time, they turned their eyes behind, but there was no gain.
Fat Ma turned his head and asked me to relax and said, "There are many animals in the mountains, and there are many animals whose eyes will shine. The eyes of the old fat cat I raised before will also shine.
The clay figurine still looked at my expression and answered Fatty's words, "The fat man is right!"
"No, those glowing eyes have a certain height," I explained. Then I stood up and stroked, almost to the position of my chest. Suddenly remembered the brown bear that the big tree said in the afternoon, and I said to them, "Is it a brown bear?"
The clay figurine's look became a little nervous against the firelight, and so did Fatty Ma. I saw that Fatty Ma had picked up the shotgun.
Fat Ma got up and walked to the forest behind him, and the clay figurine and I followed him.
But when I approached, I found that there was nothing.
"It should have gone," the mud man.
Fat Ma's heart was relieved and said, "With the fat master here, he dare not appear."
Think about it, with so many of us, a brown bear should not dare to appear, just as the three of us returned to the bonfire.
With a roar, the fat horse walking behind was knocked down.
I only heard Fatty Ma scold his mother. The situation happened too suddenly. But Fatty Ma struggled to turn over and broke free.
At this time, I also reacted, but the figure did not stop at all and got into the forest.
Fat Ma's temper broke out and immediately caught up with him.
I also followed. The clay figurine called us and finally followed us.
The figure shuttled quickly in the forest and soon disappeared into the night. Fatty Ma ran in front of him. I called him and shouted, "Don't chase!"
Fat Ma has no choice, because there is no light, and everything stays in place.
We folded back to the bonfire.
Fat Ma sat down angrily and scolded, "Don't let me catch him, or you have to roast it into a zongzi bear."
"That's not a brown bear," the clay figurine suddenly said.
"What, no, what the hell is that?" Fat Ma asked.
Although the light was blurry just now, I can be sure that it is not a brown bear. If it is a brown bear fat man, it can't get out so easily.
The clay figurine said again, "It's more like a person!"
This sentence shocked me. I didn't talk about the fat man. Fatty Ma said with lingering heart, "It won't be a savage! I heard that it eats people and doesn't spit bones!"
I also felt creepy when I heard it. As the fat man said, he was indeed a little like a savage just now, but he was a little short.
Fat Ma twisted his body unnaturally, adjusted his sitting posture, and said, "I don't think we should go to bed tonight. Don't get up in the morning!"
"I still have to sleep, otherwise I can't bear it tomorrow," I whispered.
"Then go to sleep! I'll let the wind go," Fatty Ma insisted. He said, "I would rather die with my eyes open than die inexplicable, so that I can explain it to the Lord of Hell."
The clay fig man smiled and said, "Fatty, when did you become a coward?"
Fat Ma was provoked by him and immediately said seriously, "What have I been afraid of these years? Clay people, don't talk nonsense! Why don't we practice now?"
The clay figurine immediately refused and said, "Forget it, keep your strength to deal with the brown bear!"
After a while, the clay figurine and I set up a tent. I said to Fat Ma, "If you are sleepy, just wake me up."
Fat Ma answered and sat alone by the fire.
I got into the tent, and my sleepiness soon hit me, and I fell asleep unconsciously... into a dream...
I don't know how long it took, but suddenly my dream was cut off, so I woke up and woke up in a cold sweat.
Seeing that the clay figurine around him was still asleep, I didn't disturb him and climbed out of the tent.
Fat Ma was bored teasing the flames alone, humming a sex joke in his mouth. When I came closer, it was probably the sound of stepping on the dead branches. Fatty Ma reacted quickly with a shotgun. When he saw me, the shotgun slowly put it down and scolded, "Sun, what the hell are you doing at night?" It seems that Fatty Ma was really scared by me after I sat down.
Fat Ma said, "Why do you look like you have been brushed with lime powder!"
I touched my face unnaturally, so I told him the nightmare I had just had. In the dream, you were all gone, and I was left alone in this huge forest. The key is that this dream is very real.
After a while, I ran like crazy, and even I didn't know why I ran crazy, as if the main body was not me.
Finally, I entered a dark hole and woke up.
Fat Ma stared at me and said, "Sun, you didn't do something wrong, did you?" He laughed a few times.
I denied: "I have always been open and aboveboard!"
Fat Ma sneered at my words. I said, "Say it! Fatty, go to bed and let me go.
It was already the second half of the night, and Fatty Ma said, "Forget it! It's almost dawn!"
I looked at the watch on my wrist and said, "What are you talking about? It's not early morning." Fat Ma was tossed to sleep by me.
I sat alone by the fire. Fatty Ma left the shotgun to me, saying that if there is anything to call me directly, don't shoot. This thing is easy to go wrong.
"Then leave it to me!" I said,
Fat Ma didn't answer, so he got into the tent, and soon came the sound of Fatty Ma snoring.
At this time, a cold wind blew, and the flames were blown, and I couldn't help shivering.
