Introduction to Xiuzhen School (organized by myself)
There are many departments, with different names due to different distribution standards.
According to the academics, there are five categories: Jishan School, Classic School, Fulu School, Danding School (Jindan School) and Zhanjian School.
According to the region, there are Longmen School, Laoshan School, Suishan School, Yushan School, Huashan School, Yushan School, Laohuashan School, Heshan School, Huoshan School, Wudang School, etc.

In history, there are also the division of Zhengyizong (Zhang Daoling), Nanzong (Lu Chunyang), Beizong (Wang Chongyang), Zhendazong (Zhang Qingzhi), Taiyizong (Huangdong 1), the five major sects and the division of Tianshi Dao, Quanzhen Dao, Lingbao Dao and Qingwei Dao.
There are also eight schools of morality, innate, spiritual treasure, Zhengyi, Qingwei, Jingming, Yutang and Tianxin.
Nowadays, many sects are small, and the remaining famous sects include Quanzhenism in the north, Zhengyiism in the south, Maoshanism, Laoshanism, Wudangism, Lushanism and folk Taoism in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
(Page 46 of the Dictionary of Chinese Taoism) Classics: Taoists characterized by believing in a certain symbol are collectively referred to as scriptures.
The Three Emperors School (the Three Emperors Sutra), the Lingbao School (the Lingbao Group Classics) and the Shangqing School that appeared in the Jin Dynasty are all scriptures and Taoists.
Lu Xiujing in the Southern Dynasty summarizes the three-hole classics, and refers to the three Taoist schools as the Classic School.
Daoism flourished in the Tang Dynasty, and there was no boundary between various factions, but there was a strict Taoist grade system, which distinguished between Taoist grades and Taoist titles according to the level of the teaching of precepts.
If the classics of the Zhengyi League are called disciples of Zhengyi League, they can be Zhangzhai.
In each school, there are different Taoist levels, and there are different Taoist levels such as disciples, real people, mages, etc.
The self-right faction is again subject to the Cave God Record and its classics, known as the Taishang Cave God Mage.
The record of the True Sutra of Xiudong has been transferred to Gao Xuan. After receiving the classics of Gao Xuan School such as Tao Te Ching and Lao Zi Xi Sheng Jing, he can be promoted to Taishang Zi Xu Gao Xuan disciple and Gao Xuan mage.
From Gao Xuan's department, he was transferred to the Xuanfa Record, and was called a disciple of Lingbao Shengxuan's internal religion.
From the Xuan Department to the Xuan disciple of the Taishang Lingbao Cave and the Xuan Master of the Wushang Cave.
Then he was promoted to the true mage of the cave, the mage of the three holes, and the mage of the cave one by one, reaching the highest level of Taoism.
The classics and legal records of the classics are low, and the Shangqing school is high.
After the Tang Dynasty, the Jindan School emerged, and the Longhu Mountain School of Tianshi Dao led the Sanshan Jinglu School of Taoism (Gezaoshan Lingbao School, Maoshan Qing School, Longhu Mountain Zhengyi School).
The scripture Taoism became a major sect separated from the Jindan Taoism.
Pigu School: Yi Xinying's "Taoist sect table" is also known as Bao Hezong.
The ancestors described Guiguzi and Zhang Liang, and took spitting, subduing air, and resting food as the method.
It is said that this sect of refining true qi (the grain should be next to the handle) is tangible, continuous, and eternal life.
If you are irritable and force your throat, you will suffer from tyranny, have a strange disease, and walk into the ravages of your body.
In early Taoist practice, Pigu was also used as a fairy art to develop human potential. Its technique is easier to gain qi and promote physical changes.
Yi Xinying's "Taoist sect table" is called Changhuaizong, and the ancestor's description of the moment (next to the word Ya should be next to the word quan) Shenshi and Zhongguang real people, with qi, internal view, divine determination and fetal breath as the methods.
On the fetal element, returning to the innate and understanding the truth of life and death, it is not up to me.
If you don't adjust your spirit and change your mind, you will be undefeated and unkind.
Fetal breath is a mature fairy art in the Immortal Taoism in the Wei and Jin Dynasties. Many monks use it to develop human potential and cultivate immortals.
Nangong Sect According to Yi Xinying's "Taoist sect table", Nangong Sect is also known as Lingtu, Fulu and Tiangan.
Its methods include yin and yang, five elements, six Ren, Qimen, divine charms, secret spells, Jiangling, Yubu, false shapes, and deification. In fact, it is the Taoism of the runes and urn sect that is good at magic, and its ancestors described the nine-day Xuannu and ghosts.
Youyun: Nangong Sect, look at Qi and know the prescription, escape the secret method, seek good luck and avoid evil, sword spirit eliminate evil, or fake shape and metamorphosis.
and those who let it go, then the evil cup, evil spirits, bewitching the four directions, inverting Li Shu, and not allowing it to be in the world.
The Sword Fairy School is also the Nangong School.
The inspection school is mainly based on the number of inspection techniques and the Taoist school.
In the Han Dynasty, Zhou Yixiang's mathematics developed to a peak, and gradually derived all kinds of accounting mathematics, called mathematics. Taoists who taught the number of examinations formed the Taoist occupation school.
These occupation techniques include Qimen Dunjia, Liu Renke, Taiyi Shenshu, Liuyao Yi Zhan, Wenwangke, Fumingshu, Xiangshu, Kanyu, Tuyu, Wangyun, Qi-saving, etc., which are used to predict the good or bad luck of social personnel.
The famous Taoist priests of the inspection faction include Guan Qian, Guo Pu, Li Chunfeng, Yuan Tiangang and others.
Many of the sects are immortal Taoism or folk Taoism. In later generations, the whole true religion only focuses on internal elixir and is not yet verified.
Good school Taoism has the social function of persuading good. Some Taoists think that accumulating virtue and doing good deeds can become immortals and form a good school.
The good Taoists believe in good books such as Taishang Induction, Gong Guo Ge, and Yin Qian Wen, believing that the cultivation of immortals must accumulate yin virtues and make good achievements.
The Taoist priest persuaded good deeds in society and attracted believers with the idea of Confucian ethics and morality, Buddhist karma, and Taoism.
Danding faction originally refers to the Neidan faction.
In the yin and yang planting of the inner Dannan School, because the female tripod is used, the double cultivation school is also known as the Danding school.
Since the Song and Yuan Dynasties, the yin and yang cultivation of Danfa has been prevalent, so that the internal Dan school is commonly known as the Danding school.
Later, there was a saying that Taoism was divided into classicism, Fuyuism, Jishanism, Dandingism, and Zhanjianism.
Liang Qichao, a close man, divided Taoists into four academic schools: the Metaphysical School, the Danding School, the Fuyu School and the Zhanjian School.
Some of today's works follow this theory, and the Taoist school of seeking long life by alchemy is generally known as the Danding School.
For example, people generally think that Tianshijiao, Maoshanjiao and Lushanjiaojiao are classic Taoism, and Quanzhenjiao is called Dandingdao Taoism.
Jindan School originally refers to the Taoist school of Huangbaishu since the Qin and Han Dynasties.
Yellow and white art is alchemy, mainly made of artificial gold and silver.
External elixir is alchemy, which is developed from alchemy and is mainly used to refine elixir that claims to be immortal after taking it.
The two are collectively known as Jindanshu, and Taoist priests who are good at Jindanshu form the Jindan school.
In the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties, internal elixir learning emerged, using the essence, qi and gods of the human body as the great medicine alchemy, also known as the Golden Dan School.
After that, the combination of the outer elixir sect and the Neidan sect, called Huangbaishu as the local elixir method, the inner elixir method is called the human elixir method, and the alchemy is called the Tianyuan elixir method.
Or the outer elixir yellow and white art may be collectively referred to as the local elixir method, the grafting elixir method of yin and yang double cultivation is the Renyuan elixir method, and the pure and lonely elixir method is the Tianyuan elixir method.
Since the Song and Yuan Dynasties, the Dan School and the Taoist School have been united, and the Jindan School of Taoism has become a Taoist school that is separate from the Jingli School of Taoism.
In addition, the Taoist priest who practiced Jindanshu in later generations respected Cao Guo's uncle, one of the Eight Immortals, and founded the Taoist School, also known as the Jindan School.
Refa School Refa School is a Taoist school formed by combining Neidan and runes.
advocates refining the inside into elixir and using it externally as a method; you can summon the runes to capture the thunder generals, sense them with the qi of their own internal organs and the five elements of heaven and earth, and can call the wind and rain, and serve ghosts and gods.
Song Huizong is good at Fu Lu Taoism, and there are nine servants who can practice Leifa.
The Shenxiao School, the Qingwei School, the Tianxin School, etc. all belong to the Leifa School.
The thunder method takes the inner elixir kung fu as the body, and uses the rune magic to defeat demons and catch ghosts, refine the souls of the dead, summoning gods to exorcise evil spirits, and enjoy the clouds and rain, which is more effective.
Sword Fairy School In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, novelists taught sword immortals, saying that swords have been successfully, able to combine the body and swords, receive and send freely, one white light, a hundred steps to take people's heads, such as exploring bags and taking things.
Chen Yuning's "Yang Shan Semi-Monthly" contains Liang Haibin and others as sword immortals.
It is also called Sword Fairy Kung Fu, which is used to cultivate the qi of human lung gold and externally to resist the enemy.
In Taoist books, sword immortals are quite strange, and their cultivation methods are also very mysterious. Only teachers are allowed to find disciples, and disciples are not allowed to find teachers.
The sword fairy can also fly with the sword, and the trace is uncertain. There is a combination of Yun Xiu's own spirit and the ancient sword spirit.
There is no work of sword fairy cultivation in "Tao Zang", which is only recorded.
The Taoist school that refines foreign elixir yellow and white as a prescription is collectively known as the foreign elixir school.
Compared with the inner elixir, the outer elixir originated earlier and was inherited from the Fangshi who was good at alchemy and alchemy in the Qin and Han Dynasty.
The Waidan school in Taoism flourished in the Wei and Jin Dynasty, and Ge Hong's Jindan School is actually the Waidan school.
The development of the foreign Dan faction in the Tang Dynasty reached its peak. Due to the spread of Liu Bi's lead mercury into the court, many bureaucratic emperors were poisoned, but they were defeated.
Since the Song and Yuan dynasties, the Waidan school, as the local Dan method, has still been studied by the immortal family.
The Neidan School is a Taoist school that inherits the cultivation of Neidan.
relative to the foreign Dan faction.
The Neidan school uses foreign yellow and white terms, but the meaning is fundamentally different.
Neidan School takes the human body as the furnace, essence, qi and god as medicine, breathing as wind, and thoughts as fire.
Use the degree of mind and breathing as the heat, and use the condensation of spirit as the return elixirs.
Due to the different methods of Neidan, Neidan Taoism is divided into different schools, such as Wenshi School and Shaoyang School.
The category of Neidan Gongfa.
The pure elixir method opposes the practice of yin and yang, saying that yin and yang are all in their own bodies, and they can form elixir by practicing their own spirit.
The pure school originated from the ancient art of practicing qi. Later, it was combined with skills such as qi and thinking. In the Tang Dynasty, it was influenced by Zen and integrated with Lao and Zhuang's sitting and forgetting, Xinzhai and other kung fu.
In the Yuan Dynasty, Qiu Chuji created the Longmen School, advocated the pure and lonely Danfa, and denounced the Yin and Yang Danfa for asking for help.
Then there was the Wuliu School, which matured the Danfa of the Pure School, and the Taoist School of practicing the Pure Danfa was also known as the Pure School.
The fate, the ground, often dives in the navel.
The top, the sexual root is also.
The navel is also the root of life.
One by one, the origin of heaven and earth, the ancestor.
...... The top sex, lead, tiger, water, gold,... The order in the navel is mercury, dragon, fire and root.
Therefore, all the masters of Beizong are also "knowing lead and mercury" and know how to "reve the dragon and subdue the tiger".
The distinction between the two sects in the north and the south is not based on the cultivation of either sect. In fact, both schools practice their lives, but there is a difference in order, priority and effort.
Southern Zong "more people talk about life, but few people with square nature", and Beizong's "three points of life skills, seven points of sex learning"; Nanzong advocates real belly refining life, while Beizong advocates modesty of refining sex. For example, Ming Wu Shouyang's "Nine Articles of Dan Dao" took "refinement" as a starting skill.
The two sects in the north and south are consistent in using cultivation methods to promote the condensation of divine fetuses.
Beizong and Nanzong realized the great meeting of Chen Zhixu in the Yuan Dynasty, and since then they have become two sects within Quanzhenism.
This kind of confluence can be realized. In addition to political considerations and the needs of the development of religious undertakings, it is also because the Dan Dao Thought of the North and the South inherits Zhong Lu's Dan Dao Thought.
In addition, the Qing Cultivation Danfa of the Northern Longmen School and the White Jade Toad Qing Cultivation Branch of the Southern Sect have a lot in common in absorbing Buddhist content to promote the cultivation of immortal fetuses.
Beizong also has branches that practice Yin and Yang Danfa, such as Liu Chuxuan, Ma Jue, Ma Jue's Song Defang, Song Chuan Li Shuangyu, Li Chuan Zhang Ziyang, Zhang Chuan Zhao Youruan (Yuan Duzi), Zhao Chuan Chen Zhixu (Shangyangzi), that is, the Yin and Yang Shuangxiu School.
However, Beizong is the most prosperous Longmen school of Qiu Chuji, and the pure and lonely elixir method is the authentic of Beizong Dan method.
Beizong's main works are: Wang Yu's "Chongyang Quanzhen Collection", "Chongyang Lijiao", "Chongyang Zhenren Jinguan Yu Lock Tips", "Chongyang's Twenty-four Tips"; Ma Jue's "Shenguang", "Danyang Zhenren Quotations" (Lingyinzi Wang Yizhongji), "Dongxuan Jinyu Collection"; Qiu Chuji's "Dadan Zhi "Shesheng News Theory", "fan (the word should be next to the stone character) Xiji", "Qingtian Song Note" (Wang Daoyuan's note), "Changchun Real Person Quotations"; Sun Fuji's "Sun Bulujun's Quotations"; Chen Zhixu's "Jindan Dacheng Collection", "Shangyangzi Jindan Da Yaotu", "True Three Notes", etc.
The middle school gradually formed a sect of Taoist internal elixir.
began in the Yuan Dynasty.
Created by Li Daochun.
Originally, there was no ancestral name, because its Dan method was based on "keeping the middle" and was different from the north, south, east and west Dan sects.
Li Daochun (year of birth and death unknown), nicknamed Qing'an, nicknamed Ying Toadzi.
In the early Yuan Dynasty, it came from the door of the Golden Toad, a native of the White Jade Toad of the Southern Sect, but he claimed that his clan line was "All Truth", so he was the earliest Quanzhen Taoist priest in the south of the Yangtze River.
Its Dan method is derived from Zhang Borui's Wuzhen Chapter, but it is more characterized by the integration of Taoism, Confucianism and Buddhism.
Ming Yin Zhenren disciples, Qing Huang Yuanji, etc. are also regarded as middle schools.
Unlike other Dan factions, this faction has neither a sect nor a clear religious thread. Li, Yin, Huang and others are regarded as the same faction only because they have a consistent tendency in Dan Law.
This school is characterized by combining Confucianism and Confucianism, focusing the theory of Qingxue on a "middle" word.
Li Daochun's "Zhonghe Collection" begins with a clear meaning: "The Book of Rites says: 'The joys, angers and joys and joys have not yet been issued; the hairs are all in the middle, which is called the harmony'.
It is not said to be quiet, and it is also stored in the middle.
Therefore, it is said that it exists in the middle but has no body, so it is the foundation of the world.
The middle section is called movement, and it is also what it is.
Therefore, it is said that peace and development are all in the middle, so it is the way of the world.
Sincerity can neutralize the body, then the body is quiet and spiritual, quiet and conscious, moving and upright, so it can respond to the endless changes in the world.
This is the cultivation theory that integrates the Confucian idea of "Zhonghe harmony" with Taoism. This "middle" is also the goal that Taoist practice wants to achieve, that is, to neutrality, you can become an infinite "fairy" with endless changes.
This "middle" is also the "gatehole" to be recognized in the process of practicing elixir.
He said, "If you know anything about the hallway, you are the most mysterious and wonderful organ.
Today's scholars are mostly in the form, but they are neither in the form, nor can they seek outward from this body.
The Danjing doesn't say where it is, why? It is difficult to shape the pen and tongue, and it is also difficult to say, so it is called the porch.
So the saint only has one Chinese character to show people, and this Chinese character is clear in the hallway.
The so-called middle one is not in the middle and outside, nor in the four dimensions, not in the middle.
Shi Yun: Don't think about good, don't think about evil. At that time, that's what he is, and this is also in the family.
Confucian said: Happiness, anger and decline have not been called, and this is also in Confucianism.
Tao said: I can't think of it, and it's also in this Taoist family.
This is still used by the three teachings.
(same as before) This "middle" is not only innate, but it can only be achieved through acquired cultivation, which is the skill of keeping the middle.
Ming Yin's real brother's "Life Edict" also regards Shouzhong as guarding the "root of life", which is also called "Zhenzhong". They said, "The infinite is also true, so it is said that the holy saint is passed down here.
This is in Yao Shun's obsession, in the middle of Confucius, in the middle of Zi's thought, in the general principle of the Yellow of Yi, in the five principles of the scriptures, in the air of Sakyamuni, and in the defense of Laozi.
However, there are two meanings in Chinese characters. If there is a fixed existence, it is also here; if there is no fixed existence, the universe is in the true.
The truth is what Li Daochun called "the doorway".
Qing Huang Yuanji attributed all internal refining skills and life skills to a method of guarding kung fu. He said, "In the past, my way has always been only one middle school, and the beginning also kept the tangible, refining and transforming qi; finally keeping the invisible, in order to refine the virtual and fit the way."
(Taomen Yuzhi") This method of keeping the middle is also called "middle yellow straight through", that is, you can ascend to immortals without going up and down, without opening and closing, or facing the wall.
Min Xiaogen in the Qing Dynasty was also rumored to be straight through kung fu.
Because the Chinese faction is said in Confucianism, it is regarded as a "foreign teaching".
The main works of the Chinese school include: Li Daochun's "Zhonghe Collection", "Ying Toad's Quotations", "Three Days of Changes"; Yin Zhenren's disciple's "The Edict of Life"; Huang Yuanji's "Le Yutang Quotations", "The Essence of Laozi's Tao Te Ching", "The Taoist Language" and so on.
--------------- An important faction of Taoism's internal elixir cultivation.
The faction was held during the Ming Jiajing and Longqing years.
The founder of Lu Xixing, with the name Chang Geng, also known as Qian Xu, also known as Fanghu Foreign History.
People from Yangzhou.
He studied Confucianism and failed to participate in the township examination nine times, so he abandoned Confucian clothes, dressed in Taoist clothes, and resisted dust.
He claimed that Lv Zuchunyang came to the "Bei Caotang" where he lived, and personally taught the key to Danfa, that is, he said that the new school of Danfa was called the Eastern School because of its activities in Zhejiang.
At the end of the Ming Dynasty, Sun Ruzhong and Qing Fu Jinquan were tributaries of this faction.
Although this school is called Shangxu Lv Chunyang, it does not establish a sect. Its practice of elixir method is actually inherited from the Southern Sect. It has a new idea from the Wuzhen Chapter and strongly focuses on the double cultivation of yin and Yang.
Lu Xixing believes that the "yin and yang" mentioned in the traditional Danjing refers to men and women. He said, "The way of golden elixir must be combined with the same kind.
Yin and yang, a man and a woman, one away from one barrier, one lead and one mercury, this is also the medicine of Dadan.
The true essence of Fukan is called lead, and the true essence of separation is called mercury.
The essence of innate is accumulated in me, and the innate essence is taken from him.
Why? He, Kanye, and the inner sun, the elephant is the water and the moon, and it is also a woman.
I, Liye, the outer yang and the inner yin, the elephant is the fire as the sun, and the man is also the man.
The old man** Yang's way, followed it and became an elixir against it.
("Jindan") In his opinion, the great medicine of the fairy fetus must have the harmony between the innate essence and the innate, which has been clarified in Zhou Yi: "The essence is the thing, and the wandering soul is the friendship."
However, as the innate yang in the yin, it is produced by the woman, and as the innate essence of the yin in the yang, it is produced by the man. Both men and women are short of lead and mercury, so they need to take the yang of the woman to make up for the yin of the man.
"The essence of yin and yang hides their houses with each other, and there are those who can't practice alone."
(On Xuanfu) However, Lu also stressed that the main role of this kind of hurdle filling is to "replenish its broken separation, fill its virtual painting, and restore its pure yang body."
(Jindan's main chapter) Therefore, this double practice method of yin and yang is especially suitable for the cultivation of broken middle-aged people and the elderly. Bamboo breaks bamboo to mend, and people break people to make up for it; it is weak to make up for the reality, weak and strong, and damage to make up for the profit.
As for "the children of the first child are also fetuses", there is no need to follow the double practice.
Although this school mainly practices both yin and yang men and women, it is different from the single repair method of imperial women's battle. This faction advocates using a tripod instead of fighting, casting swords without entering the furnace, repairing lead without hurting each other, and benefiting without harming others. Its actual cultivation process focuses on the method of "gathering energy", which promotes the exchange of spirits and double repair.
At the end of the Ming Dynasty, Park Zhendao commented highly of this Dan method in Xuan Xunzi, believing that "it is particularly superior and simple compared with the double practice of Indian yoga and tantric practice."
