The birth, development and rules of the Bundesliga

German, a nation with a unique personality, is one of the football powers nurtured by Germany, the first European landlocked country to introduce football from the island of Great Britain. In the 1870s, football developed rapidly in Germany according to the rules of the game adopted in England in 1863.

In 1860, the establishment of 1860 Munich Football Club marked the beginning of the German chariot. For a century and a half, German football has changed through the vicissitudes of life. It shows us another cultural accumulation and value orientation of the Germanic nation.

On January 28, 1900, in an ordinary pub in Leipzig, the German Football Association (DFB) was officially established. From then on, German football began to operate in an orderly manner. In 1903, Dortmund held the morning final of the first German cross-regional national competition in Hamburg, and Leipzig won the championship. In 1904, FIFA accepted Germany as a member state. In the long after this, German football has been developing aimlessly. From the announcement of the establishment of the German Football Association in 1900 to the Allied occupation of Germany in World War II, the German Football Association has done a lot of work. With the end of World War II, Germany experienced a history of East-West division, and the German Football Association was forced to disband.

In 1947, the Federal German Football Association was established in Frankfurt, under the jurisdiction of the three Western countries, and the following year, the Football Association was also established in the Democratic Germany under the jurisdiction of the Soviet Red Army. The Federal Republic of Germany began to organize the league in the 1947-1948 season, and the game still followed the style of the previous German league, that is, the final was played by the best team during the league. This way of playing continued until the 1962-1963 season. During this period, Federal German football gradually formed its own style, that is, power football, with abundant physical fitness and perfect tactical coordination.

After the 1990 World Cup, Germany, which had been divided for 45 years, finally unified, and the two football associations also merged into one to become the German Football Association. After the unification of German football, it basically followed the football system of the Federal Republic of Germany. The integration of the Democratic Republic of Germany caused a temporary chaos in German football. After four years of pain, German football finally entered a great unification. Some established clubs have raised the flag of German football. In the past, some small and medium-sized clubs have also gained a foothold with their own strength, which has led to the healthy and orderly development of German football.

The Bundesliga has gone through more than 60 years of ups and downs. Today, the team quota remains at the level of 18 teams. Among them, the top three in the Bundesliga won the Champions League group seats, the fourth place won the Champions League qualification seat, and the fifth and sixth place won the European League seat. The last two were relegated to the second division, and the penultimate third place and the third place in the second division were relegated to play-offs. The top two in the Bundesliga were promoted to the first division, and the third place was promoted to the penultimate third place in the first division; the latter two were relegated to the third division, and the penultimate place and the third place in the third place in the third division were relegated in the playoffs. The top two in the Bundesliga were promoted to the second division, the third place and the penultimate place in the second division were promoted to the play-offs, and the last three were relegated to the regional league.

Overview of the historical stages of the Bundesliga

1963-64 season to 1967-68 season

This is the start-up period of the Bundesliga. The league is generally in a state of competition for hegemony. Five seasons have produced five different championships. Hamburg's iconic Uwe Schiller won the first golden boot in the Bundesliga. However, in 1965, Bayern Munich and Mönchengladbach were promoted to the Bundesliga at the same time, laying the groundwork for the two champions in the next few years.

1968-69 season to 1976-77 season

This is the first peak of the Bundesliga. Bayern with Beckenbauer, Ged-Mueller, Meyer, Schwarzenberg, Brutner and Henness, and Mönchengladbach with Nezer, Vogertz, Heinx, Simonsen, Bonhoff and Stielik, staged a good show, winning all nine league championships during this period, including the goal. Xing won 5 and Bayern won 4. In addition, Monchengladit won two consecutive championships in 1970 and 1971 and became the first defender of the Bundesliga. Bayern's three consecutive championships in 1972-1974 also created the first place in the Bundesliga, but Menxing also achieved the greatness of three consecutive championships in 1975-1977 - which made other teams more It's like the foil of the two heroes.

1977-78 to 1982-83

The main theme of this stage is still the two heroes competing for hegemony, but one of the protagonists has changed from Menxing to Hamburg. Bayern and Hamburg formed a "North-South hegemony" pattern, winning five of the six league championships during this period, especially Hamburg, which remained in the top two in the league in the next five seasons.

Photos of the Bundesliga match (19 photos) are very rare; the two Golden Globe winners, Rummenig and Kevin Keegan, are the representative players of both sides. Another team that cannot be ignored is Cologne. They ended their goal difference in the 1977-78 season with the goal difference of Menxing's four consecutive championships, and they also performed well in the 1980s, contributing to Tony Schumacher, Alofs, Littbarski, Hasler and other international players.

1983-84 season to 1989-90 season

With the gradual decline of Menxing, Hamburg and other teams, Bayern's dominance began to become regrettable. The last seven league championships in the 1980s were exclusively won by Bayern. The people who have the ability to challenge Bayern during this period are Stuttgart, Bremen and Cologne. The first two each won the championship, and the latter two won the runner-up twice, but their lineup and financial resources are still quite different from Bayern.

1990-91 season to 1995-96 season

Due to the merger of the former East Germany, the Bundesliga had 20 teams for the first time in the 1991-92 season, completing 38 rounds, which is also the only season in the Bundesliga to have 20 teams so far. During this period, Bayern's performance fluctuated a little, and overall it was not ideal. It only won one league championship, and the coach changed frequently. The more prominent performance was Dortmund, which achieved two consecutive championships in the 1994-95 and 1995-96 seasons. From the perspective of the lineup, it can also be called Bayern's equal as Borussia Món and Hamburg. The number of German international players in the team has surpassed that of Bayern. In addition, teams such as Frankfurt and Stuttgart also have excellent performances, especially Stuttgart's "Iron Triangle" composed of Elber, Bobic and Balakoff, both at home and abroad.

1996-97 season to 2001-02 season

The first thing worth writing about is Kaiserslautern, who created the miracle of upgrading and winning the championship that year, which is amazing! In the following seasons, Leverkusen became the most concerned team. In many seasons, their performance seemed to end Bayern's dream of winning the championship, but every time they unfortunately failed. The 2001-02 season was Dortmund's last madness so far, with more than 100 million marks of investment and luck to get back a league championship, but the aftereffects lasted for several years, causing the team to fall to the middle level.

2002-03 season so far

During this period, in addition to Bremen's convincing performance in the 2003-04 season, Bayern won the championship, and other championships were due to Bayern's own reasons. Although strong teams such as Schalke 04 also perform well, they are always not stable enough to pose a real threat to Bayern. According to this pattern, Bayern's monopoly on the Bundesliga champion is difficult to break. This year, Dortmund, relying on a group of young players, has posed a fatal threat to Bayern, and Bayern's defense this season is worrying. Although Bayern has many good attackers, it is difficult to resist Dortmund's youth storm, allowing Dortmund to take the Bundesliga championship in the 2010/2011 season. In the 2011/2012 season, Dortmund successfully defended their title with a single-season record of 28 consecutive rounds unbeaten with a single-season record of 8 points behind Bayern at the beginning.
